In recent years,the competition of engineering construction in the power industry has become increasingly fierce.The government has not adjusted the industry quota for many years,but the cost of equipment,materials and manpower has increased significantly.At the same time,the industry also puts forward new requirements for the quality,technology and construction period of power engineering construction.This is a new challenge for the power engineering construction enterprises under the new normal in the new era.Only on the premise of achieving the safety,cost and quality objectives of the project,can the rapid and efficient completion of the project construction ensure the competitiveness of the enterprises under the new situation,which is also the problem to be solved by the current power engineering construction enterprises.The power transmission and transformation EPC project of SY Company of state power investment group,as a project preparing to apply for the National Gold Award for high quality project,has attracted much attention in the group,and the resource supply is also very sufficient.But because of its old management system and backward management,the progress of the project is seriously delayed,which not only affects the application of awards,but also affects the normal operation and management of the group company.Taking the power transmission and transformation EPC project of state power investment group SY Company as an example,according to the implementation process and the existing schedule delay of the power transmission and transformation EPC project of SY Company,this paper finds some problems existing in the schedule management of the project,including schedule lag,project implementation deviating from the established construction plan,deviating from the established investment,excessive spread of dispute cases,and unable to effectively identify risks And the right and responsibility of deviation correction and schedule management are confused.Then,this paper analyzes the causes of the project schedule management problems by using the theoretical tools introduced in this paper,and puts forward some countermeasures,such as updating the schedule assessment mechanism,updating the project payment settlement mode,re dividing the WBS work package,adopting the rolling cycle plan,establishing the regular production coordination meeting system,reforming the organization and introducing the third-party supervision.In this paper,through the example of power transmission and transformation EPC project of state power investment group SY Company,summarizes and condenses some progress management methods with certain universality in the field of power engineering construction.This paper provides some suggestions for the project schedule management of China’s engineering management enterprises under the new normal of the continuous popularization of EPC general contracting management mode.
