| In this paper,the parallel resonant power supply is used to drive the plasma generator as the research background,and the parallel resonant converter is used to design the resonant power supply.The resonant power supply developed can successfully stimulate the plasma generator after comprehensive testing,and the plasma jet can be generated by injecting argon gas.The miniaturization design of high voltage resonant power supply can effectively solve the problem of oversize power electronic products.This paper mainly starts from the working principle of the parallel resonant converter,analyzes the steady state of the parallel resonant converter,and gives the method of designing the resonant converter with the minimum steady state peak stress.On the other hand,the nonlinear load characteristics of the parallel resonant converter are studied,and the scheme of using the parallel resonant converter to design the resonant power supply to excite the plasma generator is proposed.In this paper,the circuit structure,research methods,gain characteristics and control methods of parallel resonant converter are briefly summarized,and the working mode of parallel resonant converter is analyzed in detail,and the variation law of the normalized peak stress in the normalized output plane is obtained,and the design method of the parallel resonant converter is summarized.At the same time,the nonlinear load is introduced and the circuit topology is optimized to get the design idea of resonant power supply.Finally,a resonant power supply is successfully designed by using the parallel resonant converter,which drives the plasma generator to produce plasma jet phenomenon.The output voltage of the resonant power supply is measured by using the high voltage probe,and the spectral data generated by the plasma is measured and analyzed by using the spectrometer.The phenomenon of partial discharge produced in the experiment is studied and the local discharge is calculated.The designed resonant power supply can output sinusoidal alternating current with a peak-to-peak value of 1.4k V stably,and the plasma generator is successfully excited to generate argon plasma jet.The results show that the parallel resonant converter can be used to design the required and stable resonant power supply,and it has the advantages of small volume,light weight,compact and integrated electronic products,high efficiency and strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability. |
