The scientific and effective measurement and evaluation of street space is an important way of improving the urban habitat environment and improving the quality of public spaces.At present,the evaluation of street space quality is mainly to obtain the subjective feelings of residents and pedestrians on-street space through questionnaire survey and field manual investigation.With the wide application of the Internet and big data technology,multi-source geographic data has become the mainstream data for scholars to quantify the physical environment of streets and study the quality of streets,relying on its advantages of the strong current situation,a large amount of data and low cost.However,most of the current studies take streets as independent objects to discuss their functions in greening,transportation,and urban vitality,ignoring the problem that there should be differences in the evaluation of street quality in different urban functional areas.Therefore,this paper put forward a street quality evaluation method from the perspective of urban function by multi-source geographic data.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:(1)A set of evaluation index system of street spatial quality-oriented to urban functions was constructed: Based on street and POI data,combined with LDA theme model and PSPNet semantic segmentation algorithm,this paper used landscape index of landscape ecology and environmental evaluation of environmental psychology for reference and constructed a large-scale street spatial quality evaluation index to quantitatively measure street quality.(2)Proposed a set of urban function-oriented street space quality evaluation method system: Aiming at traffic function,life function,and commercial function,this paper put forward 6 aspects,such as safety,indemnification,serviceability,comfort,attraction,and convenience and 18 measurement indexes from the perspective of problems and needs,and realized the construction of spatial quality evaluation system for different types of streets.(3)Construction of street spatial quality evaluation system from the perspective of urban function: With the introduction of analytic hierarchy process,this paper synthesized the evaluation results of street spatial quality under various urban functions,constructed the evaluation matrix by using expert knowledge,and realized the automatic evaluation model of street spatial quality-oriented to urban functions.Finally,the paper took the Shizhong district of Jinan as the study area and verified the model and method proposed in this paper by road network data,street view data,and interest point data.The test results showed that the accuracy of sampling verification was 70.29%,which had a high evaluation accuracy.This paper put forward the automatic extraction method of quantifiable street spatial quality evaluation elements,the basic elements of street spatial quality evaluation from the perspective of urban function,the street spatial quality evaluation system from the perspective of urban function,and the automatic evaluation model of street spatial quality evaluation.They effectively solved the problems of low efficiency and poor accuracy of evaluation and provided a new idea for street space quality evaluation.
