Research On Demand Response Strategy In Integrated Energy System | | Posted on:2022-07-24 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Institution:University | Candidate:Toiymbekova Madina | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2492306338460214 | Subject:Power system and its automation | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The main objective of this research is a demonstration the efficiency of demand response strategy in integrated energy system(IES).To obtain desired research results,an integrated energy system(combined electricity,heat and gas)for an example of a real agglomeration has been developed.Several options are possible when using the IES to optimize or plan the power supply of one agglomeration.However,the problem arises of selection the most optimal option for power supply in the existing conditions.Therefore,a mathematical model for choosing an optimal power supply option for a given agglomeration(taking into account existing energy sources,heat,electric and gas networks,level of load consumption,etc.)was developed.According to this model and the results of calculations,the optimal power supply option was selected using real statistical data of load and price changes in considered energy market.This option provides the implementation of distributed generation(DG)sources.For optimal loading of selected DG units the mathematical model and calculation methodology have been developed.This model allows optimizing the usage of DG units and minimizing the discounted costs of selected power supply option that makes this option more cost-effective.Demand response approach in thesis is considered from developed bi-level optimization problem:maximization of retailer’s profit and minimization of consumers’costs.Consideration of the demand response strategy on the part of the retailer and the consumer allows to create a more accurate mathematical model that takes into account many uncertainties of the electricity market,as well as to demonstrate the effectiveness of DR from both the consumer and the retailer sides.The efficiency of demand response strategy is shown on the simulated demand response model and calculated results of real consumer’s load consumption.Based on the obtained results,the efficiency of demand response strategy to the optimal developed IES for a given agglomeration is proven and allows minimizing consumer’s costs keeping retailer’s profit at positive value. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Integrated Energy System(IES), Demand Response, Distributed Generation(DG)Units, Electrical Energy, Heat Energy, Gas Network, Optimal Power Supply, Load Consumption, Retailer, Consumer | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
