With the gradual development of the global economy, the problems of environmental pollution and energy scarcity have become increasingly prominent. The effective use of energy and the necessary protection of the environment have gradually become the main factors to be considered in the development. As a product of the development of new energy, electric vehicle(EV)has attracted extensive attention in recent years.Compared with diesel vehicle, the main advantage of electric vehicle is that it has less pollution to the environment and generates less noise. However, with the increasing number of electric vehicles, how to effectively manage and control them has become an urgent problem in the operation of electric power system. The concept of V2G(Vehicle to Grid)provides a new idea to solve this problem.Since electric vehicle can be used as both ordinary electricity loads and energy storage facilities, the paper can use this feature to connect electric vehicle to the power system to participate in the frequency regulation of the power grid.Based on the above analysis, this article studies the issue of electric vehicle connected to the microgrid to participate in frequency regulation.First, based on the analysis of the frequency characteristics of the generator sets and electric vehicles in the microgrid, the mathematical model of the microgrid based on V2G technology is established, the corresponding model prediction controller is designed, and the simulation research is completed on the Matlab platform. The results show that, compared with the traditional PID control, the model predictive control strategy can more effectively utilize electric vehicles to participate in the frequency modulation control of the microgrid when the load changes,so as to realize the rapid and stable regulation of the system frequency, which illustrates the advantages of model predictive control in solving such problems.Secondly, for the economic problems that are more concerned at present, this paper adopts the economic model predictive control based on the above research. Its advantage is that it can not only ensure the stable operation of the microgrid, but also improve the economy of microgrid load frequency control, reduce equipment losses and reduce costs, thereby meeting the dual requirements for control quality and economic benefits. Finally, this paper selects the valve opening change of diesel generator as the economic performance index and an economic model predictive control strategy including event trigger is designed. This strategy can reduce the variation of valve opening, reduce the loss to the generator and increase the service life of the generator on the premise of ensuring the system frequency stability. The simulation results show that compared with PID and MPC control, when the load fluctuates, the designed EMPC controller can not only adjust the system frequency more quickly, but also take into account the economy of the control process and reduce the loss of equipment.,thereby improving the overall economic benefits of the system.
