Energy supply security and environmental pollution are deeply restricting the sustainable development of China’s economy and society. While vigorously developing renewable clean energy,it is necessary to face the problems of grid connection caused by its output volatility and randomness. As the physical carrier of the energy internet.integrated energy systems emphasizes the collaborative optimization among different energy forms, which is an important strategic development direction in the international energy field in the future. The development of the regional integrated energy systems, which are built in the high load range around the user side, can achieve the integration of "source-network-load-storage" for energy supply,by coupling the internal renewable energy, external energy supply network, energy conversion and consumption process. Therefore,it has become an important starting point for China to improve the efficiency of large-scale development and utilization of renewable energy, and to deal with the problems of energy supply security and environmental pollution. With the continuous expansion of the application scenarios of regional integrated energy systems,it is necessary to consider the energy consumption characteristics of different types of users in actual operation, and study the optimal operation model and strategy of regional integrated energy systems,so as to effectively improve the economic benefits of system operation while the energy demand of users is satisfied. On the basis of discussing the research status of the overall business development and optimal operation of regional integrated energy systems at home and abroad, this paper takes the regional integrated energy systems containing electricity, heating, cooling and natural gas as the research object.which is less studied at present.Firstly, commercial users, office users and residential users are selected as the service objects of the system, and energy consumption characteristics of different types of users are sorted out according to the fluctuation data of electricity.heating and cooling loads in typical days combined with representative indicators.Secondly, the basic framework of an regional integrated energy system containing electricity, heating, cooling and natural gas is constructed, and the detailed modeling for the system related equipment and the coupling relations is carried out.The operation cost minimization including energy source cost.equipment operation and maintenance cost and carbon emission cost is considered as the optimization operation objective of the regional integrated energy system, and the power balance constraint, equipment day ahead operation constraint and system operation constraint are set as constraint conditions,to establish the optimal operation model of the regional integrated energy system. Then, analyze the constraint optimization problem type of the model, and define the model solving algorithm. Finally, based on the actual examples and the load data of the three types of users on a typical day mentioned above, the optimal operation model of the regional integrated energy system is successfully solved, and the corresponding system minimum operation cost and equipment output are obtained, which verifies the effectiveness and applicability of the model.Furthermore, combined with the above analysis results of energy consumption characteristics, the corresponding system optimization operation strategies under different user scenarios are compared and analyzed, and the relevant parameters of renewable energy generating units, energy storage equipment,CCHP system and external power purchase are selected as the key parameters of regional integrated energy systems for sensitivity analysis to explore the differential impact of various parameter changes on system operating costs under different user scenarios. The research results can provide reference for the rational allocation of equipment resources and coordination of coupling relationship between different types of energy production in the preliminary planning and design of regional integrated energy systems.Meanwhile,it can also realize the optimized operation of various types of equipment under the given configuration conditions in the later commercial operation process,so as to provide method guidance to meet the energy needs of different types of users while minimizing the system operation cost, which has a certain theoretical significance and application value.
