The floating nuclear power plants(FNPPs)are the combination of nuclear engineering and offshore engineering. The floating nuclear power plants adopt small reactors, which has high inherent safety, but the wind and waves at sea will affect the internal equipment of the floating nuclear power plants. The containment is an important safety barrier for nuclear power generation, its integrity directly affects the safety and the efficiency of power generation.Floating nuclear power plant adopts the experience of Boiling water reactor(BWR),and arranges suppression pool at the bottom of the containment.Once the thermal stratification occurs in the suppression pool, the suppression capacity of the suppression pool will be greatly weakened, and destroying the integrity of the containment. Therefore,it is necessary to study the pressure suppression characteristics of the suppression pool in the floating nuclear power plants. In this paper,a pressure-suppressed containment model was established, and the pressure-suppressed containment model was applied to the suppression pool experimental device and the small reactor suppression pool. The numerical simulation scheme was determined by orthogonal test method, and the simulation results were analyzed by orthogonal test range analysis method. The peak pressure of the drywell was used as the test index and the orthogonal test table with three-factor four-level was selected for both simulation. The steam mass flow rate, the pressure suppression pipe diameter and the non-condensable gas content were selected as the influencing factors in the suppression pool experimental device. The proportion of gas to water, the volume ratio of the drywell and the suppression pool, and the distance from the drywell to the suppression pool were selected as the influencing factors in the orthogonal test of the small reactor suppression pool.Four levels of each influencing factor were selected, and 16 groups of tests were conducted. The relationship between the influencing factors and the peak pressure of the diywell was obtained by the analysis of the simulation results, which provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of the operating conditions in the subsequent experiments.
