With the development of Internet of vehicles and driverless technology,as well as the improvement of vehicle electronization and automation,a complex communication network has been formed inside the automobile.In addition to undertaking the communication of many electronic control units inside the vehicle,the communication network inside the vehicle will also undertake more and more important information interaction.CAN bus,one of the most important bus in vehicle network,didn’t consider the information security of the network at the beginning of design,so in recent years,hackers attack CAN bus security vulnerability to obtain the control authority of the car.Considering the security problems caused by the loopholes of CAN bus,in order to ensure the further development of intelligent and networked information security,this dissertation proposes a dynamic data compression algorithm for CAN bus,and applies this algorithm to the CAN bus security protocol to ensure the information security of CAN bus.Firstly,aiming at the problem that CAN bus can’t load authentication code,and the existing CAN bus data compression algorithm relies on vehicle communication matrix,a dynamic data compression algorithm is proposed.In the case of unknown vehicle communication matrix,the algorithm use the idea of dynamic compression to re-divide and rearrange the data field of CAN message,and remove the redundant data.Secondly,the dynamic data compression algorithm is used to generate the key,and the encryption algorithm is used to encrypt the compressed data to ensure the confidentiality of the data.Finally,combined with dynamic data compression algorithm and authentication code,the authentication code and encrypted data are sent together to ensure the reliability of the message.The simulation results show that the proposed security protocol can complete the compression,encryption and authentication stage of CAN bus messages,and the compression time is 4.55μs-60.98μs,which can achieve 75.9%average compression rate and reduce the bus load rate by 20%-30%.The overall security protocol can process a message in 0.27 ms.After the safety test and analysis of CAN bus,the proposed CAN bus safety protocol based on dynamic data compression algorithm can ensure the information safety of CAN bus.
