Design And Manufacture Of Bamboo Cylinder Rounding And Straightening Device For Peeling

The purpose of this paper is to increase the yield of bamboo veneers and reduce the selection requirements of the bamboo for peeling veneer.By consulting the relevant data on the structural characteristics,mechanical properties and the effect of softening on the stress and deformation of bamboo,the current situation is analyzed.Analyzed the defects of the existing bamboo-segment shaping equipment and methods,such as poor shaping effect and being affected by the sharpness of the bamboo-segment.The device design requirements are determined,the overall plan for round and straightening is formulated,the key mechanism is designed and manufactured around the overall plan,and the device is assembled and improved.A simple pneumatic system was installed,and the prototype was used to conduct a rounding and straightening test of the bamboo segments.The main mechanism of this device includes(1)internal occlusal chuck shaft;(2)separate roller surface shaping roller;(3)synchronous drive mechanism;(4)frame.The main features of the device are: 1.It adopts both internal and external force shaping.The outside of the bamboo segment is fed to the bamboo section by the shaping roller synchronously and the inside of the bamboo segment is forced from the inside to the outside by the internal occlusal clamping shaft.The shaping force is distributed reasonably and bamboo segment is not easy to break;2.The rigid position synchronization is combined with the flexible synchronization of the shaping force,and the ends of the shaping roller are on the same circle to ensure the circumferential roundness of the bamboo segment;at the same time,the shaping roller can be inclined to the bamboo wall and cooperate with the shaping roller The separate roller surface design solves the influence of the sharpness of the bamboo segment on the rounding and straightening;3.The device can be used alone,or can be installed in conjunction with the existing bamboo peeling machine after design to form a bamboo segment The cutting machine realizes that the bamboo segment is rounded and straightened immediately,and the auxiliary process is reduced.Tests show that this device can reduce the difference between the largest and smallest diameters of the bamboo section by 4mm on average.The design ideas and key mechanisms of this device have certain reference value for solving the problem of the roundness of bamboo segments.
