With the continuous improvement of car ownership and the improvement of living standards,higher requirements have been placed on various aspects such as shock absorption,wear resistance,high speed,safety and comfort of tires.As the main force-receiving part,steel cord cloth plays a decisive role in the wear resistance,shock absorption performance and adhesion of the tire.The production of steel cord calendering involves a large number of equipments and requires constant tension during the calendering process.Due to the flexibility of the rubber material,the coupling of various parameters and the time-varying,higher requirements are put forward for the control system.In this paper,the application of rubber cord in tire production is analyzed,and the production process of steel cord calendering is also emphatically analyzed.Moreover,the control requirements and difficulties of the system are clarified.A calender production control system based on EtherNet,equipment network and SERCOS network is designed.The system designed in this paper adopts EtherNet/IP to realize the communication between the host computer and the controller to ensure the communication speed,and the standardized industrial Ethernet interface is applied to improve the system scalability.The servo drive device for the roll gap adjustment adopts SERCOS fiber communication to improve the anti-interference characteristics.DeviceNet bus is used to communicate remote I/O and remote intelligent terminal,which saves cost and reduces construction difficulty on the premise of ensuring system stability.Furthermore,the tension control strategy of calendering process is deeply studied.Aiming at the characteristics of time-varying,coupling and raw material scalability of the system,a predictive control strategy based on iterative learning is proposed.The simulation results show that the strategy has strong robustness and good dynamic performance compared with the cascade PID control strategy adopted in production.It provides a reference for solving the problems of time-varying and coupling in the calendering production with the characteristics of expansion and contraction,and has a certain practical application value.The system trial run results show that the system designed in this paper has the advantages of high reliability,good stability,easy expansion and upgrading,and satisfies the production requirements of rubber steel cord cloth well,and has a certain popularization value.
