Project progress management is to use scientific methods and tools to formulate project schedule objectives,prepare project schedule and supply resource input plans,and use effective means to control project progress.Under the background of accelerating the process of urbanization and increasingly strict requirements of green environmental protection,this paper takes the equipment transformation in the process of relocation of urban steel mills as the research object.Firstly,the paper describe the general situation of equipment relocation and reconstruction project of cold and thin plant of GF Company.The project objectives and organization are studied by using the organization design and milestone setting of project progress management,and the factors affecting the project progress are demonstrated.Then the network planning method of the project is used to calculate and determine the key lines of the project around the resource allocation of time-cost,the parallelism of multiple sub-projects,the process emergencies and so on,and calculates and determines the key lines of the project by determining milestone events,WBS,responsibility allocation matrix and network plan.On the basis of setting up the project schedule target,this paper puts forward to optimize the key processes on the key lines to realize the optimal allocation of time limit and cost,and to coordinate the parallel projects.Through daily observation and other measures,this paper monitors the progress of the project,to carry on the deviation analysis,find the delayed process.The paper carry on the project schedule control through the resource adjustment,carry on the control to the unexpected event,through the organization and so on.At the end of the paper,it is concluded that the schedule management of equipment relocation and transformation project in urban steel plant should pay attention to the input of coordinated resources.In the initial stage of deviation,it is necessary to change the process on the key line through the continuous input of human resources and process time,so as to ensure that the overall progress goal remains the same.This paper summarizes the relocation equipment transformation project of GF Company,demonstrates the effectiveness of the relevant measures of schedule management,obtains the research results of the progress management of the equipment relocation and transformation project of urban steel plant,and objectively points out the shortcomings of the paper.For the future project schedule management,it is necessary to add more monitoring means,with the help of wide coverage and rapid transmission of network information technology,to better improve the level of project schedule management.
