Through the research on the production workshop of BW Company,the production workshop of the factory was completed in 2015 and the production line start to SOP.The annual capacity expansion is about 50%,but the workshop space is limited,the newly line has no place to be placed,and it is urgent to adjust the layout of the workshop to optimize the utilization of the workshop space,ease the logistics pressure of the workshop,and reduce the logistics cost of the company.The production workshop was researched by the improved SLP method.Based on the improved method,the layout of the workshop was planned based on the specific data of the production workshop.The improved SLP method is mainly divided into three points: 1.Unified logistics unit.2.Combine with mathematical models.3.Combined with the simulation model.The improved SLP method first analyzes the logistics correlation of each operation unit,then uses the mathematical model to describe the layout target and condition constraints,and then analyzes and improves the layout results through simulation software to obtain a smooth,balance and reasonable layout.The improved SLP method is applied to the BW company’s production workshop layout expansion project.Firstly,the SLP method is used to analyze the correlation of each unit in the production workshop.Based on this,the comprehensive correlation and the logistics cost are the main objectives.Establish a mathematical model for the transformation of the workshop layout.According to the plant layout modification model,this paper uses the genetic algorithm based on Matlab software to solve it.Through the determination of coding mode,penalty function,objective function,fitness function and genetic operation,the program is written by Matlab software.According to the simulation operation results: 1.The optimized production workshop is put into two new production lines,and the space utilization rate is improved;2.The production efficiency of the 12 production lines in the workshop is high,and all products can meet the custom requirements;3.The planning of the queue,warehouse and logistics path is reasonable in the maximum logistics pressure.Finally,review and summarize the main contents of this paper,and look forward to the future research work.
