The Influence Of Freeze Blockage On The Regulator And Its Solution

The problem of voltage regulator freeze plugging seriously affects the safe operation of urban natural gas pipeline.For the general fault of voltage regulator,the freeze plugging of voltage regulator has the characteristics of sudden and temporary,and is greatly affected by the working conditions of the upstream pipe network.Based on the practical case of Beijing Gas Group,this paper analyzes the problem of voltage regulator freezing and plugging theoretically and data,in order to provide reference for the subsequent research on the problem of regulator freezing and plugging.Firstly,the reasons of hydrate formation are analyzed,and the conditions for the formation of freeze plugging of voltage regulator are summarized.When the gas flow in the pipeline and equipment meets the valve mouth,valve and other shrinkage mouth,due to the resistance,the pressure drops significantly,resulting in the throttling effect,namely the Joule-Thomson effect.The throttle effect causes a large temperature drop before and after the voltage regulator.If the gas contains a lot of water,and the throttling coefficient is large,it is easy to occur in the pressure regulator valve mouth freeze plugging problem.Secondly,according to the causes of the formation of freeze plugging,the problem of freeze plugging can be eliminated by inhibiting the formation of hydrate and increasing the temperature.At present,water bath heating,electromagnetic heating,electric tracing,etc.are usually used to eliminate the freeze block by raising the temperature,and the freeze block of voltage regulator is usually eliminated by the way of inhibiting hydrate formation,such as injection inhibition.This article combines the actual case,carries on the analysis to the different way principle.Finally,a comparative analysis is made on the solution of freeze plugging of voltage regulator from two aspects of economy and use evaluation.The way of installing electric tracing belt has higher economy,lower cost of using equipment and more flexible installation.However,the way of installing electric tracing belt is more suitable for preventing and controlling the problem of freezing plugging of conductor and signal tube,and it is more suitable as an auxiliary means to deal with the problem of freezing plugging.The economical efficiency of the electromagnetic heating device is second only to that of the tropical zone,and the equipment is convenient to use and the cost is low.However,there are some limitations in the practical application process,so it is more suitable as an auxiliary means to deal with the problem of freezing and plugging.The methanol filling method is more economical than the water bath heating device,and it does not need personnel to be on site when it is used,so it is suitable to be used as a common means to control the problem of freezing and blocking of voltage regulator.The cost of equipment acquisition and use of water heating device is high,and it needs enough space to install relevant equipment,so it is suitable to be installed in the gate station as a conventional means.
