Urban road intersections serve as the throat of the road traffic system.The quality of their traffic operation directly affects the traffic conditions of the entire road network.The problem of interchange traffic is particularly prominent.The ramp,as one of the important components of the interchange structure,plays a role of connecting the main line with other adjacent roads.Its traffic capacity restricts the traffic development of the entire interchange.Canalization,as a means of separating traffic flow from space,is a transportation organization mode with limited investment in space,short construction period,flexible construction,and easy to combine in the near and long term.Road alignment is the main content of canalization one.The road alignment can generally be described by the road center alignment.On the premise of observing the relevant standards,the vehicle trajectory is the main basis for linear channelization.The thesis takes the linear canalization of the right-turn canalization area of urban intersections as the research object,on the basis of analyzing the right-turn road improvement technology at home and abroad,in order to achieve the maximum mining of the fluency and safety requirements of traffic on limited road space To construct a ramp shape suitable for the trajectory of the car.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the data collection method of the vehicle’s driving trajectory which completes the turning behavior at the right turn canalization area is given.And preprocessed the trajectory data from three aspects: video stability,trajectory outlier removal,and trajectory reconstruction.Secondly,the relevant model and method for extracting the center line alignment of the right turn channelization area were established.Inspired by the Delaunay algorithm,the road topology model of the channelization area was constructed using the set of trajectory points,and a road boundary recognition method based on the long-side constraint criterion was proposed.On this basis,by determining the triangle type in the topology model,A new road centerline extraction algorithm is presented,and the road centerline alignment data is obtained based on the eccentric correction of the cubic B-spline function.Then,the center line of the road was identified.Based on the law of slope difference ofthe curvature graph,the types and boundary points of the linear components were obtained.The mathematical model corresponding to the straight line and the circular curve based on orthogonal least squares was constructed.Under the circumstances,the method of constructing the mathematical model of the transition curve section gives the linear channelization model of the right turn road and the geometric parameters corresponding to each linear element.Finally,the VTK technology was used to visualize the channelization of the canalization road in the right-turn channelization area,and the corresponding test software was developed using C++,Python programming language and Qt.The research results were carried out through the trajectory data at the intersection in Xi’an verification.
