China’s heavy-duty railways are developing in a direction of greater capacity,safer and greener.With the increase of traffic demand and the popularization of HXD series high-power electric locomotives,the power supply capacity of existing traction power supply system of heavy-haul railway is low,and the problems such as falling speed or stopping caused by frequent over-current phase of trains become increasingly prominent,which seriously affects the railway operation organization and becomes the bottleneck hindering the further acceleration and expansion of heavy-haul railway.This paper researches the scheme of traction cable co-phase connected power supply for heavy-haul railway,which has strong power supply capacity,can greatly reduce or even cancel electrical phase separation,improve the utilization rate of traction transformer capacity and regenerative braking energy,and help the long-term development of heavy-haul railway.First of all,this paper introduces the reform scheme of traction cable co-phase connected power supply for heavy-haul railway,adaptation was determined by the selection of the cable have cable of the scheme,For different power supply schemes,the corresponding equivalent circuit models were derived respectively,the current distribution and voltage drop were analyzed,and a mathematical model describing its power supply capacity was constructed.In addition,the cable materials used in the scheme were analyzed,and the cable type suitable for the traction cable co-phase connected power supply scheme was preliminarily determined.Then,Theoretical model of power supply scheme based on heavy-haul railway traction cable,with the examples of a heavy-duty line railway reform scheme design,calculation of relevant parameters,to establish simulation model based on WEBANET.The power supply capacity and energy consumption of the existing scheme and the transformation scheme are simulated and analyzed respectively to further verify the feasibility and superiority of the reform scheme of traction cable co-phase connected power supply for heavy-haul railway.Finally,the paper evaluates the economic efficiency of the reconstruction plan of A heavy-duty line railway,and analyzes the reconstruction cost,investment recovery period,transportation operation economy and social and economic benefits.The results show that the cost recovery period is short,the economic benefit is high and the social and economic benefit is significant.It provides further reference for the popularization and application of the scheme.
