Research On Passenger Flow Of Chengmianle Intercity Railway

Since the 21st century,China’s high-speed railway has entered a period of rapid development,and all high-speed railway lines have been constructed and put into operation.Chengmianle Intercity Railway began planning in 2003 and was put into operation at the end of 2012.Due to the influence of historical conditions and geographical environment,the development of the western region of China is generally backward in the eastern region.The operation of Chengmianle Intercity Railway has injected new vitality into the economic development of Southwest China.However,as an important support for the rapid and stable development of the national economy,the normal operation of railway enterprises requires a large amount of human and financial resources,which needs the strong support of the state.Apart from this,railway enterprises themselves should also pay close attention to the passenger flow situation and make a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of passenger flow data in order to formulate efficient and reasonable operation plan and operation organization strategy,and improve service quality and transport efficiency.Firstly,this paper introduces the current situation and related theories of passenger flow on intercity railway,then conducts passenger flow survey on Chengmianle intercity railway,and collates the results of passenger flow survey,and then analyses the characteristics of passenger travel behavior and personal characteristics of Chengmianle intercity railway.Secondly,based on the OD passenger flow data collected from Chengmianle Intercity Railway,this paper analyses the spatial distribution characteristics of Chengmianle Intercity Railway from the perspectives of passenger flow direction,section passenger flow,node passenger flow and the relationship between passenger flow and distance.Besides,it also analyses the time distribution characteristics of passenger flow from the perspectives of holidays,months and weeks.Finally,this paper uses SWOT analysis method to analyze the operation status of Chengmianle Intercity Railway,and puts forward the railway operation countermeasures of Chengmianle Intercity Railway combined with the space-time distribution characteristics of passenger flow.
