With the in-depth research and development of eye control system,eye movement interaction has developed from a single gaze to many other interaction methods,such as blink,gaze gesture.However,most of the current eye control applications only use gaze as the main mode to replace the mouse operation under the WIMP interface,which brings many usability problems and greatly limits the development of the eye control system.This paper believes that the development of eye control system must rely on the research of eye movement interaction,reduce the cognitive load of users in the interaction process,improve the overall user experience,in order to truly release the potential of eye movement interaction,and integrate eye movement interaction into our public life better and faster.Aiming at the problems of low interaction efficiency,poor user experience and Midas touch existing in gaze interaction for a long time,this paper focuses on the eye movement interaction mode in eye control system,uses the method of combination of theoretical research and experiment,and applies the experimental conclusion to the specific research and development of eye control system,and explores the design of different eye movement interaction modes of eye control system to make decisions for users Impact.Specifically,this paper has done the following three aspects:First,theoretical research.The characteristics and research status of eye control system and eye movement interaction were analyzed and summarized.The principle of eye control system is described in detail.Summarize the main eye movement interaction forms and analyze their relative merits.And summarizes the design principles of eye movement interaction,and builds an expandable eye control system development framework.Second,experimental research.(1)As for gaze,the optimal triggering time of gaze interaction and the size and position advantages of interactive controls are studied,which provide the basic guiding principles for the design of the interaction interface of the eye control system.(2)As for gaze gesture,the priority order of single gaze gesture is studied to provide a scientific theoretical basis for complex gaze gesture combination.(3)As for the corresponding function semantics of gaze gesture,through the objective experimental method verification and the subjective scoring method of semantic difference sub scale,the best gaze gesture corresponding to the four specific functions of "forward,backward,magnify and shrink" is obtained.Thirdly,combined with the above research results,an eye control system is built,which mainly focuses on gaze interaction,supplemented by gaze gesture(shortcut key).At the same time,the usability of the eye control system was tested and evaluated by eye tracker and SUS system usability scale,and the rationality of the system was verified by questionnaire.In this paper,the input characteristics of gaze and gaze gesture are explored through ergonomic experiments,which contribute to the research of eye movement interaction in eye control system and provide theoretical guidance for designers in related fields.By using gaze and gaze gesture in the development of eye control system,the overall interaction efficiency of eye control system is improved,which has better application value.
