Research On The Architectural Design Of Traditional Chinese Towers In Historical Environment

Tower is a typical landscape element in the traditional Chinese urban landscape cultural environment and a key factor in the connection between the city and the natural landscape.It plays an iconic role in the construction of Chinese traditional culture aesthetic value orientation and the overall image of the landscape environment space structure.It is an important way to understand the environmental management wisdom of ancient Chinese craftsmen and to enrich the theory of modern Chinese urban characteristic landscape construction to deeply understand the relationship between traditional towers and historical environment and its noumenon characteristics.The landscape construction in ancient China has always paid attention to the overall grasp of the environment.At present,the research on the towers mainly focuses on the formation background and development and evolution characteristics of the single material space,while the further study is needed to connect the distribution of the towers with the urban spatial environment for a holistic interpretation.In view of the above understanding,based on the historical environment of the traditional towers as the research object,this paper tries to analyze the interaction between historical environment and traditional towers from the perspective of the types of historical environment,combing the historical experience of the connection of ancient towers with the natural order at different levels of the environment to provide a basic theoretical reference for the inheritance and innovation of the design of modern landscape towers,so as to provide theoretical support for the construction of related projects and the protection and repair of towers.Through the literature and case analysis,this paper makes a systematic analysis of the traditional tower architecture design in the historical environment.The research is divided into four parts: the first part clarifies the interaction between historical environment and traditional towers from three aspects: the types of historical environment and the forms of towers under their influence,the role of traditional towers on the construction of ideal environmental pattern,and the methods of establishing overall relationship between traditional towers and the environment at different levels.The second part is to understand the characteristics of the development of traditional Towers from the vertical and horizontal aspects of time,and to understand the background of the formation of monomer towers and the evolution of its elements.The third part,based on the previous understanding of the characteristics and relations between historical environment and traditional towers,explores the adaptive strategies of traditional towers in the context of modern space from two aspects: the environmental response and the single expression of Towers.The fourth part takes Bi Yun tower as an example to elaborate the design strategy of the towers and the surrounding environment under the background of the new order of modern urban landscape.To sum up,the law of building ancient Towers is summarized,and it is recognized that the Tower landscape is a form of material expostulations formed by multiple factors in a specific historical context.Therefore,in the new historical period,we should not only regain the traditional wisdom of the overall management of the environment to enhance the confidence of national culture,but also interpret the core connotation of the tower culture with modern architectural language,and shape the new tower landscape that reflects the spirit of the times.
