A Study On The Public Welfare Behavior Of Toilets In Gucheng Community Of Kunming City

With the continuous development of China social economy,people’s pursuit of quality of life is also improving.In recent years,the toilet problem has become a social problem that people pay more and more attention to.Since the eighteen Party’s Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping attached great importance to the problem of toilet improvement in rural areas,and put forward: "toilet problem is not a small thing".Through the "toilet revolution" in rural areas,rural residents are required to use sanitary toilets.Under the promotion of government departments at all levels,rural areas in China are actively carrying out rural toilet improvement projects.The purpose is to alleviate the shortage of toilet resources in rural areas,improve the quality of life of people in rural areas and improve rural environmental health,and realize rural revitalization.This paper selects the Gucheng community of Kunming in Southwest China as the research object.After investigation,it was found that the local people’s evaluation of the sanitary conditions of toilets in the local community was poor.However,since2000,this community has been continuously building and repairing toilets in the community.The number of toilets is increasing and the facilities are constantly improving.However,people’s evaluation of the local toilets is getting worse and worse.In particular,the operation mode of toilets in the Gucheng community is not the public welfare or market-oriented operation mode of toilets,but the two different identities of "local people" and "outsiders",and the corresponding different operation modes are adopted,that is,the public welfare service for local residents and the market-oriented charging mode for external residents A series of contradictions and disputes.This study focuses on the behavior of the participants in the public welfare of the Gucheng community toilets,and discusses them from the perspective of the participants in the public welfare of the Gucheng community toilets.It is divided into five parts.Firstly,it introduces the special environment of the Gucheng community,and the tortuous process of toilet public welfare in this community.Secondly,this paper discusses the government toilet public welfare as well as the contradictions and conflicts.Thirdly,it introduces the toilet market resources of the Gucheng community from the perspective of the market,and analyzes the reasons for the toilet public welfare Then,from the perspective of local community residents’ participation in toilet public welfare behavior,this paper discusses their actions and shortcomings in public toilets.Finally,it focuses on the actions and discrimination of foreign residents in toilet public welfare behavior,and puts forward suggestions respectively.This study believes that the government,the market,local residents and non local residents have made continuous efforts and exploration in the public welfare behavior of the Gucheng community toilets,but it is not enough to rely on the efforts of all parties to realize the public welfare of the toilets,and they need to cooperate with each other to form a whole and play the power of integration.The reform and development of toilet is not a simple problem of toilet construction and the improvement of people’s quality.It should also integrate the specific characteristics of the local society,consider the complexity of the local society,and integrate more humanistic value care.
