Research On The Spatial Forms Of Traditional Settlements Along The Mentougou Section Of The Yongding River

The Yongding River comes from Shanxi and traverses the Taihang Mountains all the way from the Taihang Mountains to Beijing.It connects the civilizations on both sides,and it has also become a place where the two cultures of farming and nomadism meet.As a place for human life,settlements have also become a carrier of culture.Settlement is a place where people live and multiply together.They are witnesses from farming civilization to digital civilization,witnessing the efforts and sweat of residents.Under the influence of the Yongding River,the settlements along the river have formed an open and inclusive life attitude.Although they have experienced wars,they are stable.They have developed rapidly in peaceful times.They have continuously absorbed ecdemic cultures in their development and formed unique settlement connotations.The space in the settlement records the production and life,communication methods,and aesthetic orientation of the residents on this land.In the context of frequent floods and droughts,residents built artificial facilities to fight against nature,expand the type of space in the settlement,and reflect human wisdom and the historical background.The research object of this paper is defined as "Yongding River,Mentougou Section,Settlements Along The River,Traditional Settlement,Space Form ",combing the basic situation of traditional settlements in Mentougou Section of Yongding River from the time and space dimension,selecting representative settlements for targeted analysis,studying the spatial form of settlements,and discussing The influence of different types of Yongding River culture on settlements.This article consists of four parts.Firstly,we will understand the writing background and study the content of the thesis.Secondly,it explores the location and environment of the research object and conducts research on the historical process of settlement development through the method of historical data analysis.A stable social environment plays a key role in the development of local settlements,and it is re-established in the chaos when it fades away.Thirdly,based on specific investigations,from the macrosettlement distribution and the relationship with the topography,the meso-settlement internal space and the micro-situation,layout and plane form of the specific courtyards are analyzed,and the spatial morphology of the settlements is studied at different levels.The space in the settlement presents openness and flexibility,creating a positive spatial form and settlement characteristics adapted to the natural environment.Finally,it summarizes the factors affecting the formation and evolution of the traditional settlements along the Yongding River and discusses the factors that affect the location and form of the settlements.Through analysis,the most essential influence of the Yongding River on the settlement was found,and the current traditional settlement space form was formed.This article expands the cultural background of the research on the settlements along the Yongding River,and deepens the research on the settlement space along the river,hoping to be of reference value for subsequent settlement protection strategies and methods.
