As the status of nuclear power units in power system and the flexibility of its power regulation gradually be taken seriously,together with the increasing demand for flexible resources and the promotion of electricity market construction,mediumand long-term contract decomposition and the spot market clearing model,as well as power system reliability assessment considering the flexibility of nuclear power units have become key problems in electricity market operation.However,there is a lack of the joint contract decomposition algorithm for different types of generation units including nuclear power units,which brings difficulty to adapt to differentiated operation characteristics of all types of units.On the one hand,due to the lack of research on the operation flexibility and reliability model of nuclear power units,the influence of the flexibility of nuclear power units is not considered in the power system reliability evaluation model.On the other hand,the flexibility of nuclear power units affects both the economy and system reliability of the spot market,it is urgent to establish an optimal scheduling model for coordinating flexibility and reliability under electricity market environment.In order to solve these difficulties,this paper focuses on the model of medium-and long-term contract market and spot market with the participation of nuclear power units,as well as the system reliability evaluation considering the flexibility of nuclear power units.The main content of this paper is as follows.First,based on operation characteristics of nuclear power units and other types of units,the decomposition principles for nuclear,hydropower,gas and coal units are designed,and a combined contract decomposition model considering the operation characteristics of nuclear power units is established.In addition,the contract decomposition result is checked in order to avoid the abuse of the market power of units.On this basis,the combined decomposition algorithm of medium-and long-term contract is designed considering the operation characteristics of nuclear power units.Second,the reliability assessment model of nuclear power units is built based on statistical data.Then,the system reliability and the market price risk assessment model is established considering the reliability model of generation units.The system reliability and the market price risk under different failure scenarios are assessed based on system reliability and market price risk indexes,and the effectiveness of the evaluation model is verified.Finally,based on the mathematical model of nuclear power units and system reliability evaluation model,the optimal scheduling model and process for coordinating the operational flexibility of nuclear power units and system reliability are established.In this way,the system reliability and economy considering the flexibility of nuclear power units is balanced,which benefits for enhancing the flexibility of the generation side and connect the medium-and long-term market transactions of nuclear power units.
