As ever-stricter emissions regulations were implemented,the electronic control technology of marine low-speed diesel fuel injection systems has gradually received attention.As a key component of the fuel injection system,the electronic fuel injector is the premise for the fuel injection system to obtain flexible injection capabilities such as precise injection timing and variable injection rules.However,compared with the foreign professional suppliers,our research on the electronic fuel injectors is relatively backward and the supporting products have long relied on imports,which has led to the core technology being severely constrained by the foreign professional suppliers.To get rid of the situation where electronic fuel injectors have long been constrained by the foreign product suppliers,gradually narrow the gap in international research levels,and develop independent brand electronically controlled common rail fuel systems,the article carried out the independent design of electronic fuel injectors,taking the self-branded marine low-speed diesel engine as the application object and relying on the high-tech marine scientific research project“Low-speed Marine Engine Project(Phase 1)-Development of Fuel System”.Taking a self-developed marine low-speed engine as the application object,to make its supporting electronic fuel injector domestically,a method of combining numerical simulation and experiments was used to carry out research and design work on the electronic fuel injector.The research results and conclusions obtained are as follows:Firstly,taking self-developed marine main engine as the application object,the paper designs an electronic injector conceptual structure and completes the basic design parameter matching calculation of the electronic injector,relying on the empirical formula for the design of injectors for marine medium and high high-speed engines,and considering the injector injection characteristics of marine low-speed diesel engines.Secondly,with the help of the AMEsim hydraulic simulation platform,a complete electronic fuel injector coupling model covering mechanical,electrical,hydraulic,and magnetic is built.Based on the model,the influencing factors of the performance of the electronic fuel injector are analyzed and to evaluate the injection performance of electronic fuel injectors,a basic injection performance study was carried out over the full range of operating conditions.Considering the high-temperature heavy oil use environment,the solenoid valve component of electronic fuel injector has the risk of high-temperature work failure,this paper was used ANSYS simulation software platform to build a simulation model of the electromagnetic valve heat dissipation,and analyzes the temperature field of the solenoid valve under heavy oil use environment and completed the optimization design of the cooling oil passage of the solenoid valve.Finally,a performance test platform for electronic fuel injectors for marine low-speed diesel engines is designed,and related performance verification tests for electronic fuel injectors are carried out based on the test platform.The research results show that the developed electronic fuel injector has a fast injection response rate,high injection pressure,and a maximum injection pressure of120 MPa.The injection quantity fluctuation between cycles is small under different operating conditions,and the fluctuation range is within 10 mm~3.Within and under different working load conditions,the error between the cyclic fuel injection test value and the theoretical value of the electronic fuel injector is within 2.38%.Within the tolerance range,the cyclic fuel injection amount test value is consistent with the theoretical value,which meets the basic injection performance requirements of the electronic fuel injector;the heavy oil seal structure is well sealed and the temperature rise of the solenoid valve is small in the environment of heavy oil use,the surface temperature is about 91°C,which is far lower than the maximum stable operating limit temperature of the solenoid valve of 180°C,which meets a certain type of marine low-speed diesel electromechanical Requirements for heavy fuel injection of the electronic fuel injector.
