| High-performance ship is a significant supporting force for ocean resources development,as well as a new kind of ship which every country wants to develop.Trimaran is an important member of high-performance ship family.It is highly valued by countries around the world for its high speed and great wave resistance.The cross-deck is an important part in trimaran structure.Currently,the box-type cross-deck structure which is widely used has problems of large size and high weight.As a result,it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of cross-deck on small trimarans.To explore weight reduction schemes for cross-deck by optimization method is significant as well.To solve the problem of cross-deck on small trimarans,structural characteristics and optimization analysis of small trimaran cross-deck are carried out,details as follows.At first,choose the “Dream Chasing Ark”,which is a small unmanned trimaran developed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University,as the object of this research.Analyze the structural strength and fatigue life of its cross-deck based on finite element method.Evaluate the weak part of the structure and laid the foundation for optimization analysis.Then,focusing on the low material utilization rate of cross-deck,use topology optimization method to optimize the structural form of the cross-deck.A new form of structure is gained based on the result of topology optimization,which has a much lower weight as well as a much higher material utilization rate.Finally,focusing on the local stress concentration,optimize the shape of cross-deck corner and the thickness of plate by multi-model comparative analysis.The problem of local stress concentration is improved after optimization.Check the structural strength and fatigue life of the optimized cross-deck.Results show that the final structure can meet the requirements of strength and fatigue.In conclusion,a new cross-deck structure type which can reduce the structure weight is obtained by a series of analysis and optimization research.The achievement can provide reference for cross-deck structural design of small trimarans,and it has high practical value in engineering. |
