Vehicle-mounted visible light communication technology is the key technology of intelligent transportation system. It solves the problems of reduced communication quality caused by the shortage of radio frequency communication spectrum resources, the limitation of data frame synchronization, and the electromagnetic interference in the environment of high-density traffic.Visible light communication technology has great research value for alleviating traffic jams. When the vehicle is running, the different radiation patterns of the vehicle, the size of the vehicle, the movement of the vehicle, the scattering of aerosol particles, and the correlation of the space channel will all affect the visible light communication of the vehicle. This thesis establishes a channel model of a vehicle-mounted visible light communication system with three vehicles traveling in the same direction, and studies its system performance. The specific content is as follows:1.Established a single-input single-output(SISO)and dual-input dual-receiver(2×2 Multiple Input Multiple Output,2×2 MIMO)spatial rectangular channel model for the vehicle visible light communication system. The influence of the relative speed between vehicles, the direction of movement, the divergence angle of the headlights of the car,the reflective material and the position of the vehicle surface on the road surface and adjacent lanes on the transmission power of the channel are studied.2.Based on Mie theory and formula, the effects of wavelength, dust, ice crystal, droplet and other aerosol particles on attenuation coefficient and transmission power are studied.3.The parameter characteristics of channel spatial correlation of 2×2 MIMO vehicle-mounted visible light communication system are analyzed, and the channel model of 2×2 MIMO vehicle-mounted visible light communication system is established, and the system performance under different levels of dust, snowfall and fog visibility is studied. The research results show that the relative speed between vehicles, the moving direction, the reflective materials and positions of vehicles on the road and adjacent lanes will bring about different degrees of channel attenuation. The multipath effect caused by the divergence angle of automobile headlamps and the spatial multiplexing of channels will affect the performance of the vehicle-mounted visible light communication system. With the increase of aerosol particle concentration in atmospheric channel, the effective communication distance between vehicles decreases. The research of this paper provides a new communication system model for unmanned driving.
