At present, many mines and mining cities in our country have problems of environmental pollution and resource depletion, which have brought tremendous pressure to the sustainable development of urban ecology, society and economy. Therefore, how to re-explore and utilize mine resources and realize the sustainable development of mines is highly concerned and valued by the whole society. This paper explores the landscape design strategy and sustainable development strategy of abandoned mines through literature analysis, field investigation, social interviews and other research methods, and gives abandoned mines a second life with a new concept and manifestation.Based on the survey of domestic and foreign related topics, mine landscape design cases, landscape ecology and other related theoretical studies, this research elaborated on the landscape characteristics and development and utilization types of abandoned mines, and at the same time seized the development opportunities of Lianyungang City’s tourism industry.Put forward the necessity of tourism development in the abandoned mining area of ??Xishan in Lianyungang City, and carry out landscape design research and practice in the Xishan mining area,so as to realize the overall goal of Xishan mining area to become a "ecology and fashionable green mining landscape model",thereby driving the regional economic cycle development of.Finally came to the following conclusions:(1)Through field investigations on the natural conditions, traffic conditions and surrounding resources of the Xishan mining area, and comparing the results of questionnaire data analysis on the necessity of mine reconstruction and space atmosphere creation,it verified the necessity of landscape design for the Xishan mining area.Based on this,a landscape design concept for the abandoned mining area of Xishan in Lianyungang City is proposed.(2)Taking the two cultural contexts of mining civilization and ecological civilization as clues, combined with the positioning of landscape design, the overall goal of landscape design for the abandoned mining area of Xishan has been established.Reconstruct the ecological order of the mining area, create new industries in the mining area, and form a multi-functional and comprehensive creative "green mine" life circle that connects the city, nature and culture, and integrates sports experience, leisure and entertainment, and regional tourism.(3)Based on the principles of landscape design and development and design strategies, using landscape design methods, integrating the terrain features and cluster boundaries of the mining area to create landscape clusters with different characteristics to form diverse experiences and functions. In line with the design concept of "the struggle and integration of mining civilization and ecological civilization",the landscape space layout design method of "initiation, inheritance, transformation and prosperity" is adopted to reproduce the four major areas of green mines, ecological homes, mining integration, and extreme Xishan Landscape axis.According to the layout requirements of the site, the mine is divided into eight functional areas and 35 landscape nodes. The special design of traffic flow lines, sight lines, important nodes, plants, and site elevation treatments are described and analyzed in detail. Finally,it analyzes the comprehensive benefits brought by the landscape design of the abandoned mining area of Xishan in Lianyungang City to the local and surrounding areas from three aspects: ecological benefits, economic benefits and social benefits. The purpose of this research is to conduct design research and practice on the abandoned mine area of Xishan in Lianyungang City by means of landscape design, and summarize and summarize a set of design theories and methods that are applicable to the landscape design and reconstruction of abandoned mines, which are feasible, relatively complete, and have universal reference significance. The land landscape design provides a valuable reference.
