The continuous innovation of science and technology has promoted the development of modern wireless communication technology.The demand for the communication system for base station antenna is steadily increasing,and the energy consumed by the system is also increasing.The existing wireless communication system mainly relies on fossil fuel for power supply.The gases emitted by fossil fuel combustion will lead to the greenhouse effect,and the combustion of residual substances will lead to frequent haze weather.Solar energy,as the most promising renewable energy,is one of the effective ways to achieve green communication.The integration of solar cell and base station antenna can not only receive and transmit wireless signals,but also supply power to the system by using the DC power generated by solar cell photoelectric effect,which is conducive to the development of wireless communication system to miniaturization and portability,and to the realization of low-carbon economy and the construction of an energy-saving and environmental-friendly society.Based on the above background,the broadband base station antenna with the integrated solar cells is studied in this paper.The integration of electric dipole and microstrip patch antenna with a solar cells is realized respectively.The main work is divided into the following two parts:1.Research on the integrated technology of solar cell broadband dipole base station antenna.The main radiation structure of the antenna consists of 4 solar cells of4cm×2cm,each of which forms an electric dipole.A 1×2 array antenna is designed by 4 solar cells.In this design,the"L"probe coupled feed structure is used to excite the antenna to realize the impedance matching in a wide band.The test results show that the working frequency band of the antenna is 1.6 GHz~2.7 GHz,and 51.1%impedance matching bandwidth is achieved.The average gain of the antenna in the working frequency band is 8.5 d Bi,which has good cross-polarization characteristics and low back lobe radiation.In order to realize the mutual isolation of AC and DC signals,the structure of band-stop filter and the spiral coil is used to realize the isolation of DC port from AC signals,so as to achieve the purpose of collecting DC power.2.Research on integrated technology of low profile broadband base station antenna of the solar cell.The radiation main body of the antenna is composed of three strings of solar cell structures arranged in parallel,each string of solar cell structure is composed of four 4cm×2cm solar cells in series.The patch antenna is fed by slot coupling,which can achieve wide-band impedance matching and has a lower antenna profile height.The simulation results show that the antenna can cover the mobile communication frequency band of 1.7 GHz~2.7 GHz,the relative bandwidth is45.5%,the maximum antenna gain is 10.6 d Bi,the total section height is 0.05λ0(λ0is the wavelength of 2.2 GHz in free space),and the volume of the antenna is effectively reduced.In order to realize the mutual isolation of AC and DC signals,a low-pass filter is used to isolate the AC signals at the DC port.Because the AC port is fed by slot coupling,the DC signal is isolated directly.Finally,the two kinds of solar cell broadband base station antennas proposed in this paper have excellent radiation performance,compact design structure,and meet the development needs of modern society for green wireless communication.
