The world economy is based on the extensive use of fossil energy.With the increasing shortage of non-renewable resources such as coal,the development and utilization of new energy sources has attracted more and more attention from the international community.The concept of microwave power transmission(MPT)was first proposed by Tesla in 1891.Since the Space Based Solar Power(SBSP)project,there have been more and more researches on microwave wireless power transmission.This article is about the research of C-band rectenna array in wireless energy transmission system.The research content is as follows:First,a metasurface-based energy harvester with a center frequency of 5.8 GHz was designed.The unit of the energy harvester adopts a rotationally symmetrical method,so that the energy harvester has the characteristics of stable polarization and wide-angle response.The metasurface is first analyzed theoretically,and then the simulation design is carried out in the three-dimensional software.In the CST Microwave Studio simulation,when the incident wave is incident perpendicularly,the absorption efficiency of the energy harvester based on the metasurface can reach 98% and the energy harvesting efficiency can reach 95% under arbitrary polarization conditions.In addition,a 4×4 microstrip antenna array working at 5.8GHz was simulated and designed,and the gain of the array antenna was obtained by simulation to be 23 d Bi,and the structure of the feed network of the array antenna was a Wilkinson structure.Second,a rectifier circuit that works in the C-band is designed.First,the rectification mechanism of the microwave rectifier circuit is analyzed,and the appropriate rectifier diode and capacitor are selected.Perform modeling and simulation in ADS software,adjust the parameters of various components,determine the influencing factors,and design the rectifier circuit.Schematic-layout co-simulation is obtained.At 5.8GHz,when the input power is 20 d Bm,the maximum rectification efficiency of the rectifier circuit can reach 66%.The circuit size is,which realizes the compactness of the rectifier circuit,and the size is smaller than the smallest unit of the energy harvester based on the metasurface.Then,the rectifier circuit based on the field effect tube is also discussed,and the research results based on the field effect tube rectifier in recent years are sorted out.Finally,the rectenna array method is discussed.The antenna is integrated with the rectifier circuit to form a rectenna,and the rectenna array constitutes a rectifier array.Third,perform software simulation first to prove the operability of the experiment,and compare the energy collection efficiency of the three receiving antennas by simulation;establish the purpose of the experiment,and then select suitable experimental instruments and components according to the existing experimental conditions in the laboratory.Pay attention to the experimental items,design the corresponding experimental plan,and carry out the experimental demonstration of the microwave wireless energy transmission system;finally,the charging of the mobile phone is realized.
