China’s market economy is constantly developing and growing,providing more and more enterprises with more and more convenient opportunities and channels for development,but with it comes a variety of enterprise problems,the credit crisis caused by the debt problem is especially obvious,which has affected the stable development of the capital market and the national economy to some extent.For debt restructuring,the Ministry of Finance revised and formulated three relevant accounting standards within 10 years,and theorists and practitioners have also given more attention to debt restructuring and its consequences.In this paper,the background,motivation and performance of debt restructuring of Harbin Electric Group Jiamusi Motor Co.,Ltd.are analyzed and evaluated by various methods,the main causes of debt restructuring are external macroeconomic downturn,fierce industry competition,the decline of internal solvency,cash flow difficulties,imperfect internal control,earnings management and avoiding delisting,etc.The catastrophe series method is used to analyze and evaluate the financial performance,innovation performance,social performance and total performance.The results show that the debt restructuring of JEMC has temporarily improved the financial performance index of the company in the current period and in recent years,which has led to the development of its main business,and has a greater impact on the social performance of JEMC,it urges enterprises to take more social responsibility,and debt restructuring has no significant effect on innovation performance.In general,debt restructuring makes JEMC out of the financial difficulties,improving the overall performance of the enterprise.
