| Asphalt mastic is composed of mineral filler and asphalt binder,which is an important part of asphalt mixture.The change of mineral filler types can lead to great differencess in performance of asphalt mixture,especially for the moisture resistance ability.The adhesion between the aggregate and asphalt binder is an important index to evaluate the moisture resistance ability,and it is also the resource of strength of asphalt mixture.It was investigated for the mechanical properties of asphalt mastic with four kinds of fillers,including hydrated lime,brake pad powder,mineral powder and Portland cement 42.5.Meanwhile,the properties of the interface adhesion between the aggregate and the asphalt mastic were discussed by the improved pull-out test and image processing method through the factors of the pull-out force,the pull-out force loss rate and stripping rate.Firstly,raw materials’ properties were surveyed by indoor tests,to confirme its suitability meetings the test requirements.Different indexes of asphalt mastic were analyzed based on the physical properties and DSR test,such as rutting parameter,fatigue parameter,penetration index and softening point.The test’s results and analyses indicated that the four mineral fillers can effectively improve asphalt mastic’s high temperature rutting resistance and temperature sensitivity.And the asphalt mastic with hydrated lime and brake pad powder showed better rutting resistance than cement.Secondly,the effect of the test temperature,curing condition and the type of fillers on interfacial adhesion between aggregate and asphalt mastic was analyzed through the improved pull-out test.The results showed that the pull-out force decreased as the test temperature increased,and it can be increased in high temperature curing condition without water.The interface adhesion deteriorated with the increase of water soaking time.Compared with other fillers,the effect of hydrated lime is more positive and more stable under different curing conditions.Finally,based on technique of precise structured light 3D scanning,the parameters of Image-Pro Plus 6.0 were corrected by the model of Geomagic,so that it can more accurately and quickly identify the stripping rate through the digital camera.The results of stripping rate showed that the hydrated lime and brake pad powder can improve anti-stripping effect even under high temperature and water soaking conditions.While the mineral powder and Portland cement 42.5 enhanced the anti-stripping ability of asphalt mastic under low temperature and full water conditions.A large area of serious stripping will occur after a long period of soaking,regardless of the curing temperature and filler type. |
