Research On The Design Of Industrial Site In Waterfront Wharf In The Yangtze River Economic Zone

With the change and development of the times,the urbanization in China has gone through a rapid development,during which people pay more attention to the inheritance of urban culture and ecological protection.Since 2016 when General Secretary Xi proposed in Chongqing that "the restoration of the Yangtze River ecological environment should be overwhelming above all",the riverside cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt began to renovate and relocate the industrial docks and enterprises in the riverside area of the Yangtze River in the following time,which accelerated the formation of industrial sites of urban docks.These old dock industrial sites record the memories of different historical stages in the process of industrialization in China,carry the development process of the industry and the historical and cultural accumulation of the city and represent a series of important historical nodes in the process of industrialization and modernization in China;therefore,it is extremely urgent to protect and utilize the landscape so as not to disappear the urban industrial culture.The cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt began to renovate the urban landscape of the dock industrial sites bearing the precious historical memory and industrial culture of the industry and the city.This paper,based on the literature review and collection of relevant information,sorts out the historical causes,the rise and the fall of the dock industry in the Yangtze River economic belt with the hope to provide reference for the research and landscape design of the follow-up scholars.It has also investigated and collected the relevant data targeted to the present status of landscape design cases on the dock industrial sites which are located in Shanghai,Wuhan and Chongqing situated in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.With the analysis on the landscape design,this paper concludes and summarizes the protection and utilization for the dock industrial site and the strategies for modern landscape update design.Taking the cultural and creative park of "Yangmatou" in Jingzhou Shashi as a practical project,the paper makes a survey and summary of the site status and the industrial site of the dock and develops a set of value evaluation system in line with the site of Shashi dock to protect the landscape of the industrial site.In the landscape renewal design,the paper proposes to respect the current situation of the site,use the modern landscape design strategy and the historical context left by the dock industrial site to guide the landscape renewal design of the dock industrial site in the cultural and creative park of "Yangmatou" in Jingzhou Shashi so as to build the "Yangmatou" into one of the scenic spots with strong industrial and cultural atmosphere in Jingjiang river landscape and become the city card of Jingzhou city.
