Quantitative Study On Landscape Space Of Hangzhou Huagangguanyu Park

Hangzhou Huagangguanyu Park is an excellent case of modern urban park in China.Borrowing from the past to open up the present,it is of great innovative and breakthrough significance,which also has important reference value for the inheritance and innovative design of modern urban parks.The quantitative research on the landscape space of Hangzhou Huagangguanyu Park is of great importance for guiding the planning and design of modern urban parks in China.The existing research mostly focused on the qualitative analysis of Huagangguanyu gardening techniques.In terms of quantitative research,although there have been quantitative studies on plant species and plant landscape space in Huagangguanyu Park,there is a lack of quantitative analysis on the overall landscape space of the park,the sequence organization of landscape space and the visual experience of visitors.Based on space syntax theory,visual perception and other theories,this research took Hangzhou Huagangguanyu Park as the research object and analyzed the overall structure,landscape space sequence,and plant landscape space through spatial syntax and quantitative analysis with a large number of literature readings and field investigations.By quantitative research,the essay focused on revealing the rules of park space layout,landscape space sequence organization methods,and plant landscape space creation rules through intuitive graphical language,and used quantitative data to reveal the scientificity of Chinese traditional gardening techniques,in order to provide reference for subsequent design.This essay used space syntax to conduct quantitative research on the location conditions,spatial structure,visual permeability,and spatial accessibility of Huagangguanyu Park,and summarized its spatial layout characteristics;It also selected classic tours in the park through field research and questionnaire surveys according to the theory of “Three Thresholds of Landscape”,combined with the spatial experience of tourists,and the division system of the types of absent-minded spaces was constructed The essay summarized the spatial sequence organization rules of the park landscape;through quantitative analysis of the plant landscape space,the rules of spatial scale,perspective,its construction law etc.This research has mainly achieved the following three research results,which are as follows:1.This paper made a quantitative research and analysis on the overall layout of Hangzhou Huagangguanyu park through space syntax.The space structure of the park was tree-like + ring,and the spaces were strongly connected.The visually permeable part of the park space was located on the east side of the water system between the front lawn of the Peony Pavilion and the West Lawn of the Tea House,Cuiyu Hall,Red fish Pond part.The most accessible part was located at the intersection of Wei Lu,Peony Garden,and Red fish Pond.The Huagang area in the west of the park had poor visual permeability and low accessibility.The park space was poor in comprehensibility.It also summarized the characteristics of the park’s spatial layout:(1)Plant barriers and sight lines;(2)Spatial penetration and continuous separation;(3)Spatial contrast and rich changes.2.This paper made a quantitative study and analysis on the spatial sequence organization of Hangzhou Huagangguanyu park.According to field research and questionnaire survey,selecting the classic tour route of the park-the Main EntranceCedar Lawn-Cangshan Pavilion Lawn-Yuchi Historic Site-Lakeside Promenade-Red Fish Pond-Peony Pavilion Front Lawn-Tea Room West Lawn-South Entrance Lawnthe South Entrance,based on the analysis parameters of the horizon model and the theory of "Three Thresholds for Landscape",the division system of the type of absentminded space was constructed,and corrected the system according to the actual experience of visitors,and the characteristics of the park landscape spatial sequence construction were summarized as follows:(1)Field of vision closing and opening and hold off before starting up;(2)Skillful borrowing and borrowing scenes randomly;(3)Plants obstructing sceneries and guiding hints.3.This paper made a quantitative research and analysis on the plant landscape space of Hangzhou Huagangguanyu park.In terms of the construction of plant landscape space,most of the large-scale plant landscape space scale didn’t exceed the range of the 0-100 m social field of view,and the close-up viewing distance mostly conformed to the 23-35 m hundred-foot shape.In terms of spatial form,the shape factor of the large-scale plant landscape space was above 2.0,and the small-scale plant landscape space was below 2.0.Except for the Large Cedar Lawn,the ratio of evergreen deciduous leaves of trees was between 0.9-1.4.The horizontal viewing angle of each viewpoint in the plant landscape space was mostly between 10°-70°.The vertical viewing angle was mostly between 8°-34°,and the D/H value was mostly controlled between 1.5-7,which changed greatly.The characteristics of the park plant landscape space construction was summeraized as follows:(1)Adjust measures to local conditions and suitable scale;(2)Plants were separated and coordinated with nature;(3)Space flowed and tortuous changed;(4)The perspective was changeable,and the sceneries were different.
