With the application and promotion of the traffic organization mode of "separation of people and vehicles" in residential areas,the outdoor pedestrian area of residential areas is relatively independent and has gradually become an important place for residents’ activities,and its environmental functionality,landscape and safety are important factors to improve the quality of life of residents.As an important part of outdoor environment,the lighting quality of outdoor pedestrian area is closely related to the quality of outdoor night environment.At present,there is a lack of residential area outdoor night light environment specific domestic standards,and there is a lack of timely research on residential area outdoor night light environment and the application of new light sources.Therefore,this paper takes the night light environment of outdoor pedestrian area in residential area as the research object,analyzes and summarizes the current situation and problems of night light environment of outdoor pedestrian area in residential area through current situation investigation;Through relevant research,the standards are supplemented and improved,and appropriate strategies are put forward.In the first chapter,through combing the relevant scholars’ research and relevant standards at home and abroad,we find that there is a lack of relevant research on residential areas and pedestrian areas in mountainous cities,and there is a lack of targeted standards,while the existing reference standards are uneven,so as to clarify the research object,method and purpose of the paper,to provide theoretical support.In the second chapter,through the basic research,combing the mode and traffic form of residential areas in China,the importance of outdoor pedestrian area to residents’ night activities is clarified;The pedestrian area is divided,and its environmental elements,residents’ nocturnal activities and walking distance are classified;This paper summarizes the function,types,characteristics and indicators of night lighting in outdoor pedestrian areas of residential areas in China;Objective to understand the visual characteristics and basic needs of residents’ outdoor activities at night,so as to prepare for the follow-up research.The third chapter quantifies the night lighting demand and night activity types of residents in outdoor pedestrian area through pre-survey questionnaire,and makes clear the night functional lighting and identification lighting in outdoor pedestrian area of residential area as the research focus;According to the field monitoring data,it is found that the night lighting quality of outdoor pedestrian area in residential area basically does not meet the recommended value of relevant standards,and the relationship between the objective measurement data of pedestrian area and the subjective evaluation of residents is understood combined with the subjective evaluation value of residents,which provides basic data support for the follow-up technical research.In the fourth chapter,based on the main points of functional lighting in the outdoor pedestrian area of residential area,through the study of functional lighting,combined with the field monitoring data and residents’ subjective evaluation,according to Weber-Fechner law,the recommended values of average level illumination in each outdoor pedestrian area are derived,and the average values of semi cylindrical illumination in Road area and square area are preliminarily obtained;According to the previous studies and relevant specifications,the stereoscopic index,glare limit value and color rendering index are recommended.The fifth chapter verifies that the night light environment of outdoor pedestrian area is in the middle of the visual brightness;Through dynamic and static identification experiments,the influence of semi cylindrical illumination,environmental background brightness and light source color temperature on objective identification distance and residents’ subjective evaluation is analyzed when LED light source is used;Through the dynamic and static identification experiment and 4m sight distance verification experiment,combined with the above-mentioned functional lighting research,the appropriate semi cylindrical illumination of each pedestrian area in the residential area and the appropriate light source with medium and low color temperature are obtained,so as to supplement and improve the relevant specifications.The sixth chapter summarizes the night lighting design principles of outdoor pedestrian area in residential area.Combined with the relevant research results,typical residential areas are selected for software simulation and optimization to improve the night light environment of outdoor pedestrian area in residential area,so as to put forward the appropriate lighting facilities selection and layout of pedestrian area.Finally,the above research results are summarized,and the follow-up related work is prospected,in order to provide appropriate strategies for related research,supplement and improve the relevant domestic standards,and play a role in promoting.
