The Symbolic Interpretation Of Ancient Chinese Characters And The "Form Meaning" Isomorphism Of Early Chinese Architecture

Due to the lack of examples of early architecture,the information of space form and component form of early architecture that can only be obtained through the field of Archaeology and architecture is not complete,and it can not answer the specific reasons for the emergence of early "architectural form prototype".As a "living fossil",Chinese ancient characters have integrity and continuity in the process of historical evolution,and their pictographic construction provides the possibility and operability for the study of ancient architecture.At the same time,both characters and architecture can express meaning through their forms.Based on the "connected cosmology" proposed by anthropologists and the "space-time concept of universe" constructed by ancestors,this paper hopes to deduce the early architectural space,component form prototype and evolution through the symbolic interpretation of ancient architectural characters.Based on the above reasons,this paper statistically extracts the architectural characters in Shuowen Jiezi and the pre Qin literature,and lists the evolution chart of ancient architectural characters from oracle bone inscriptions to seal characters in the research object.In the second chapter,it expounds the whole process of the ancients’ "space-time concept of the universe" abstracting from the myth and constructing into the early architectural form prototype,and summarizes several basic architectural form prototypes.The contents of the third chapter and the fourth chapter are based on the theoretical paradigm of building symbol archetype research,with the help of mythology,ancient philology and other analytical means,combined with the pre Qin literature,images,archaeological remains and other historical materials,to explain the "form meaning" expression of ancient characters related to architectural space and building components,so as to have a glimpse of architectural works in the case of the lack of early architectural remains It is the signifier and signified of the ancient Chinese concept of "cosmology",which can clearly find the close relationship between architecture and space-time in the process of analysis.Through the interpretation and analysis of the Related words of architectural space and components,we can find that the form of early architecture has an important connection with the "space-time model" of the universe constructed by the primitive people.It is possible that they are all subject to the basic thinking and conceptual construction of time and space of early human beings,a kind of original structure,and the various forms created by human beings are only "different variations of a box of basic themes".From the perspective of mythology,ancient philology and architecture ontology,this paper explores a systematic and relevant research approach to the understanding of architectural symbol prototype and symbol.By reflecting on the historical paradigm of semiotics archetype research,starting from sorting out the concept origin of Chinese ancient "space-time view" symbol archetype,taking the architectural characters in oracle bone inscriptions and bronze inscriptions as a clue to investigate the evolution of Chinese ancient architectural space and component form,this paper reconstructs the "form and meaning" of architecture as a symbol when the early architectural remains are very scarce.
