Near-water space is the most dynamic and attractive part of urban waterfronts.Under high-load operation and high-intensity work pressure in modern cities,the hydrophilic space with pleasant climate will bring great benefits to people’s physical and mental health.However,with global warming,urban heat islands and high temperature disasters become more and more serious.Extremely hot weather strongly affects the outdoor thermal comfort of the human body and brings great obstacles to outdoor water activities.Chongqing,a famous "stove" city,has a maximum temperature of more than40 ℃ in summer.On the basis of the existing built environment,how to create a thermal environment comfortable outdoor hydrophilic space has become an important issue.Therefore,the paper starts field investigation,thermal environment measurement,human thermal experiment and software simulation on the hydrophilic space of riverside waterfront space in the main urban area of Chongqing,and starts thermal environment analysis and comfort research on different levels.The purpose is to have an intuitive understanding and understanding of the local thermal environment of the waterfront space in Chongqing,analyze the thermal environment influencing factors and the corresponding effects of the waterfront space in Chongqing,and explore the thermal comfort and thermal comfort of human body in the waterfront space in Chongqing in summer.The main influencing factors provide theoretical basis and reference for the improvement of the thermal environment and thermal comfort of the waterfront space.First of all,through the way of literature review,the Chongqing Binjiang Waterfront Space was studied from three aspects: development history,spatial characteristics,and related policies.The current situation of the 55.65 km waterfront waterfront space in the core area of Chongqing’s main city was carried out a segmented survey.The types of hydrophilic spaces and the main thermal environment influencing factors are summarized;Secondly,the thermal environment of a typical riverside waterfront space is selected for actual measurement,and the characteristics of the typical waterside waterfront space thermal environment are analyzed from the two levels of space scale and environmental factors.The study found that as the horizontal distance and vertical height between the measuring point and the body of water increase,the air temperature increases,the relative humidity decreases,the black bulb temperature increases,and the thermal environment become worse.Different shelters have significantly different effects on improving the thermal environment.The specific performance is: viaduct shading> roof shading under the influence of buildings> plant shading under the influence of buildings> pure plant shading;Then,human thermal comfort experiments were carried out in three comparative waterfront hydrophilic spaces without shading,plants and viaduct shading.Starting from two aspects of human physiological parameters and thermal comfort evaluation indexes,the relationship between average skin temperature MST,physiological equivalent temperature PET and subjective thermal sensation TSV,thermal comfort TCV and thermal environment factors was further explored,and the suitable thermal comfort range of PET in this study was determined.The experiment showed that TSV and TCV increased significantly with the increase of outdoor stay time in the non-shading environment.In the process of turning from indoor to outdoor,the average growth rate of MST in the non-shading environment,viaduct and plant shading environment was0.24 °C · min-1,0.05 °C · min-1 and 0.07 °C · min-1,respectively.In the non-shading environment,the average radiation temperature has a particularly significant impact on PET.In the shading environment,the influence of wind speed on PET is particularly significant.Finally,the influence of different underlying surfaces,different shelters and the combination of underlying surfaces and shelters on thermal comfort was explored by ENVI-met simulation software.According to the thermal sensation range of PET obtained from human thermal comfort experiment,the comfort evaluation of the simulation results was carried out.It is found that the greater the emissivity of artificial shelter is,the greater the transmittance is,and the greater the shielding space PET is,and the worse the thermal comfort is.The transmittance of toughened glass increases 0.1,the average radiation temperature and PET increase 1.82 °C and 0.97 °C respectively.When the pavement is different,the improvement effect of the same shelter on the thermal environment is close.
