Design And Research Of New Residential Environment For The Aged Based On Horticultural Therapy

In recent years,China’s economic development has made rapid progress,people’s quality of life has been significantly improved,China’s elderly population base is increasing day by day to solve the problem of pension is imminent.China has built many systems and institutions to solve the pension problem,and the facilities and equipment provided for the elderly are more and more complete,which promotes the development of China’s pension undertakings.Horticulture therapy is a natural way to achieve physical and mental health and improve human body function by making participants experience gardening around plants based on plants.The application of horticulture therapy in the elderly living environment can enrich the life of the elderly,improve their mood,cure diseases,and create a beautiful environment.Comparatively speaking,overseas exploration of horticulture therapy is earlier,the research is more mature,the domestic research is relatively lagging behind,in-depth study of horticulture therapy theory and its practice is to find a new way for the development of China’s pension undertakings,is an important way to solve the problem of China’s pension.In this paper,the literature review method and case analysis method are used to complete the collection and research of horticulture therapy literature and the design of residential environment for the aged.Through reading and analyzing literature,I learned and summarized the definition,characteristics,composition,mechanism of action and classification of treatment forms of horticultural therapy.Through the analysis of China’s elderly living environment problems,draw on domestic and foreign excellent cases,the final development of the research ideas and framework of this paper.In this paper,according to the different physical and mental states of the elderly to find the point of convergence,from the fundamental needs of the elderly to design the elderly living environment in line with the vision of the elderly.Through the field research method,questionnaire survey method to concreteness,gather support the realistic factors,conditions,this paper study the elderly physiological psychological status and needs,make the study of this topic is more on the actual operation,to ensure that research theory and design scheme can be feasible,the endowment living environment design for the future provide the theory and practice guidance.The research and design of this project have three objectives.First,the purpose of this study is to provide a living environment for the elderly to promote their physical and mental health through a variety of gardening activities.Second,humanization as the basis,put forward a reasonable analysis of landscape space design,to build an outdoor landscape design to meet the needs of the elderly;Thirdly,based on plants,the physical function of the elderly can be restored by stimulating the five senses,so as to create a comfortable,safe,healthy and healthy living environment for the elderly.
