Research On Space Design Of Small Resort Hotels From The Perspective Of Space Experience

With the prosperity of China’s tourism,people pay more and more attention to travel,vacation and other recreational activities.Among them,the very characteristic small resort hotel has become more and more people go out to travel choice.However,when small resort hotels are configured with diversified activity places,they appear disorderly accumulation of functions,which ignores the spatial feelings of users and is difficult to meet the deepseated psychological needs of consumers.Therefore,it is very important to improve the space quality of small resort hotels.From the perspective of spatial experience,this paper takes small resort hotel buildings as the research object,and conducts research through the collection and sorting of literature and the combination of field research and questionnaire research.Firstly,the spatial experiential design elements of small resort hotels are summarized according to the characteristics of experience and the perceptual way of spatial experience.Secondly,a field survey of domestic small resort buildings is carried out to understand the status quo of small resort hotels,and the problems existing in space theme,function and path,space interface and other aspects of small resort hotels are found and summarized.Thirdly,combined with the elements of spatial experience design,the excellent cases of representative small resort hotels in China are analyzed.Finally,the design principles and strategies of small resort hotels from the perspective of spatial experience are obtained by integrating the problems found in the survey and the analysis results of excellent cases.The research shows that the spatial experience-oriented design strategy includes six aspects: the construction of spatial theme,the selection of external environment,the occurrence of diversified events,the induction of spatial path,the perception of touching and the ornament symbol.Finally,this study verifies the proposed strategy through the design practice of Shanyu Residence Hotel in Jizhou District,Tianjin.The aim is to provide reference for the design of small resort hotels in China and to expand the thinking of the architectural design of resort hotels in China.
