Underground cable path detector is an important equipment to accurately detect the location information of underground cable,and is widely used in electric power and communication industries.The application of fully automatic cable path detector can greatly reduce the cable maintenance workload,avoid the cable damage caused by misoperation,and ensure the reliable supply of power.The research and design of the cable path detector is of important theoretical significance and of engineering application value.Based on a lot of literature research and market research,this paper comprehensively investigates and analyzes the advantages and deficiencies of the existing cable path detector,and studies and designs a new cable path detector based on the phase detection technology.This paper studies the spatial distribution of the electromagnetic field around the cable based on the classical electromagnetic theory.The characteristics and distribution rules of the induced electric dynamic potential generated by the orthogonal coil group located in the cable electromagnetic field are investigated and analyzed.Main work completed is:1.collects and arranges the principles and parameters of the existing cable path detector,grasps the development trend of key technologies,and points out the direction for the design of subsequent devices.2.explains the design process of the system,deduced the relevant formula of cable path detector and the overall framework of device design.3.uses MATLAB to analyze the principles and characteristics of amplitude and phase detection techniques respectively.4.uses the finite element simulation software to analyze the magnetic field distribution around the cable under various detection scenarios,COMSOL Multiphysics.5.After analyzing the principle of various cable path detectors,the ratio sounding method is proposed as the sounding method of this paper.6.studied the influence of orthogonal coil group size,number of turns,and distance between two coils on the detection signal.7.analyzed and designed the system according to the requirements,completed the signal conditioning circuit,single chip computer and its peripheral circuit,human-computer interaction circuit and the corresponding programming design,and realized the basic function of path detection.Innovative aspects of this paper: the new cable path detector uses phase detection technology,and then measures the cable depth by ratio method.The Institute has concluded that:1.uses MATLAB comparison that the phase detection technology has the advantages of high anti-interference ability and high detection sensitivity.2.stated that the ratio sounding method can eliminate the measurement error caused by different soil physical characteristics and improve the anti-interference capability of the device.3.shows from the simulation results that the magnetic field distribution around the cable is greatly affected by the ferromagnetic material,less affected by the concrete cover plate,and not the magnetic field distribution around the cable under different signal injection modes.Finally,the device function in the laboratory environment,the experimental results show that the device can meet the expected system function.The cable path detector designed in this paper has the characteristics of strong anti-interference ability,low cost,small volume and convenience to use,which can help the construction personnel quickly determine the buried path and depth of the underground cable.Therefore,the research and design of the cable path detector has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.
