With the rapid development of the automobile industry,the research and application of tire wear detection technology has become more and more extensive.As a key component of a car,tires are easy to wear parts.Excessive wear and abnormal wear of their patterns will bury hidden safety hazards for driving safety.Therefore,effective detection of tire pattern wear is of great significance to improving vehicle driving safety.However,most of the current detection of tire tread wear is performed manually.The tire tread depth is measured by visual inspection or tire tread depth gauge.However,the manual detection method has low detection accuracy,inability to quantify errors,and large human error factors.,Low efficiency,inconvenient operation and other problems.In response to the above problems,this paper designs and implements a tire wear detection system based on line structured light measurement technology and computer vision technology.The main work content is as follows:(1)Aiming at the structural characteristics of the linear structured light and the detection standards of the enterprise,this paper designs and builds a high-precision tire wear detection platform,completes the equipment hardware selection,and realizes the collection of tire pattern images.(2)In view of the limited field of view of a single camera,it is impossible to ensure that a complete tire pattern image can be collected.This paper designs a dual-camera tire wear detection model,which uses a dual-camera method for image collection.An image stitching method based on camera calibration is introduced.The internal parameters of the camera are calibrated by Zhang Zhengyou’s plane template calibration method,the image correction is completed by the distortion coefficient,the pose relationship between the two cameras is calculated by matrix multiplication,and the LM optimization algorithm is used to complete the internal and external Parameter optimization.When performing image stitching,through the rotation and translation matrix between the two cameras,the image to be stitched is rotated and translated to the coordinate system of the reference stitched image,and the overlapping area of the two images is calculated to complete the image stitching.In order to eliminate the stitching traces,The weighted average algorithm is used for fusion to realize the stitching of the images collected by dual cameras and obtain the complete tire pattern image.Experiments have verified that the algorithm has a good splicing effect and meets the splicing requirements.(3)Aiming at the problem of tire tread groove depth measurement,this paper proposes a method of tire tread groove depth measurement that combines camera calibration and line structured light plane calibration.Establish the conversion relationship between image pixel points and spatial three-dimensional points through the calibration of the camera internal parameters,and obtain the line structured light plane equation through the line structured light plane calibration;the stitched tire pattern image is preprocessed by binarization and morphology to obtain light bars The pixel coordinates of the center line are obtained by using the line structured light plane equation to obtain the camera coordinates of the center line of the light bar;the center line of the light bar in the camera coordinate system is projected and rotated horizontally to obtain the relative coordinate map of the center line of the light bar;The groove point is determined according to the change rule of the gradient value in the neighborhood of the pixel point,and the tire tread depth is obtained by calculating the baseline.Experiments have verified that the measurement error is within 1mm,and the processing speed is up to 44.23245 frames per second,which meets the actual industrial requirements.(4)The software platform of the tire wear detection system was designed and developed,and the whole system was experimentally verified in a real working environment,and the experimental results were analyzed and summarized.
