For optical surveillance satellite,multi-target data association and tracking technology is the key to the target state estimation and situation assessment.Comparing with synchronous orbit satellites,MEO and LEO satellite is close to the target.But because of the large movement of the MEO and LEO satellite,tracking the target can be difficult.In this dissertation,multi-target data association and tracking technology in MEO and LEO satellite is studied,mainly from three aspects: false trajectory elimination,fragment trajectory association and maneuvering target tracking.The dissertation mainly includes the following three parts:In chapter 3,false stellar trajectory elimination is studied.Firstly,the false alarm phenomenon is introduced that the star glides along the edge of the earth due to atmospheric refraction.Secondly,by verifying the symmetry of the optical path under a spherical atmospheric model,the star light refraction model is given.On this basis,the method of estimating atmospheric refractive index by star light deflection is given and the result is compared with the theoretical one.Finally,the method of false stellar trajectory elimination based on atmospheric refraction correction is given.By simulation,the effectiveness is verified.In chapter 4,image plane fragment trajectory association for strong maneuvering target is studied.Firstly,the image plane motion model and observation model for strong maneuvering target are introduced.Secondly,the sequential association algorithm and its improved algorithm are given.Finally,in order to improve the above algorithm,an image plane fragment trajectory association algorithm is proposed by reselecting the matching time and using 2D assignment to solve the fuzzy problem.The simulation results show that whether in the case of single target or multiple targets,the proposed algorithm is better.In chapter 5,space maneuvering target tracking is studied.On the basis of strong tracking filtering algorithm which is based on extend Kalman filter,a strong tracking filtering algorithm with square root cubature Kalman filter is given.By adding time factor and feedback,a space maneuvering target tracking algorithm based on improved SRCKF strong tracking filter is proposed.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more robust and has better tracking effect for space maneuvering target tracking.
