Traditional underwater vehicle mainly relies on propeller and rudder to realize attitude control.Rudder can produce effective control force only under certain speed condition.When the vehicle is on low speed,rudder could provide little control force and great resistance.In order to realize the attitude control of underwater vehicle at low speed,a new type of jet linear motor is designed in this paper as the propulsion motor of underwater vehicle.The mathematical model of electromagnetic field is established by analytical method,and the coupled jet model is established by combining with the fluid kinematics model.Then,multiple field simulation models,such as electromagnetic field and fluid field,were established to predict the functional characteristics of the jet motor.Finally,a test platform for the jet motor is built,and the performance of the jet motor were measured through experiments.The main work of the paper are as follows:The main work of this paper is as follows:1)The topological structure of a slotless cylindrical permanent magnet synchronous linear motor is proposed,and the dimension parameters of each component of the motor are determined,as well as the design of sealing and insulation technology applied in the Marine environment.The magnetic field analysis model of slotless permanent magnet synchronous linear motor is established by analytical method,and the performance of the motor under no-load and load condition is obtained by finite element simulation.2)The fluid kinematics model of the working process of the jet motor was established,which was combined with the electromagnetic model to establish the coupled jet model.Then the internal mechanism of thrust enhancement in the jet process was analyzed by numerical method,and a jet motion model more suitable for low-speed propulsion was proposed.3)A testing platform for the jet motor was built to test the reliability and performance of the jet motor.
