Power battery is the core of pure electric vehicle.A reasonable power battery thermal management system must be designed to heat the power battery at high temperature and heat the power battery at low temperature in order to improve the overall performance of the power battery and improve the drive range of the pure electric vehicle.Aiming at the battery system of a pure electric vehicle,this paper studies and designs its thermal management system.When the indirect liquid cooling mode is adopted,the liquid cooling plate is designed by Catia,and the rationality of the flow channel distribution of the liquid cooling plate is simulated by CFD simulation software Flo EFD,which is verified by the test.According to the characteristics of the liquid-cooled plate,it is proposed that the design of the isolation plate between the internal module of the power battery package and the liquid-cooled plate can prevent the safety risks such as short circuit caused by coolant leakage on the one hand.On the other hand,the separator material has good thermal conductivity,the uniform temperature of the cell in the power battery package can be achieved.Aiming at the above liquid-cooled plate,the temperature field is simulated under different working conditions to verify the liquid-cooled plate solution.Based on market benchmarking,cooling temperature thresholds are identified to meet the reqiurement of power battery cooling strategy by simulation.The power battery discharge and normal cooling are verified by using the environmental rig.After comparing the test data of the test results with the simulation results,it is found that the two values are in good agreement,which shows that the simulation model is accurate and the simulation results are credible.the corresponding temperature test data are recorded and analyzed,and the temperature uniformity of the maximum thermometer meets the design target value,indicating that the design of the liquid cooling plate is reasonable and the result is reliable.We also verified the thermal management strategy in real road vechile test,test data show both of ultimate temperature of cell and temperature difference among cells meet the design target...
