| Bicycle accidents in the NAIS(National Automobile Accident In-Depth Investigation System)database show that some cyclists will adopt emergency attitudes to avoid danger when they are in collision. There are significant differences in injuries between cyclists and vehicles in different emergency attitudes. Therefore, studying the injury and motion response process of the cyclist in different emergency postures is of great significance to the protection of the bicycle cyclist and the optimization of the front structure that of the vehicle.According to bicycle accident statistics, several common emergency postures are defined for cyclists: adjusting the sitting posture and tilting the body, turning and adjusting the sitting posture, turning and tilting the body, typical foot positions and turning the head.Use MADYMO software to reconstruct a car-bicycle traffic accident in the database to verify the feasibility of the simulation method and the validity of the model. Then, based on the collision speed, the collision angle, and the collision model, the simulation test is carried out to study the impact of three influencing factors on the bicycle rider’s injury in different emergency postures. The results show that the more serious the injury of the cyclist is as the speed of the collision increases, but the change trend of the head and calf injury of the cyclist is different with the setting of the emergency posture parameters. When the cyclist adjusts the sitting position and the car body tilts, the back inclination angle and the car body inclination angle are greater than or equal to 15 °and 6 °respectively, the head injury is less affected by the collision speed. When the cyclist turns and adjusts the sitting posture and the back angle is 0°,the head injury is most affected by the collision speed, and the injury is the most serious.Besides, when the cyclist adopts a steering and the body is tilted in an emergency posture, the body is not tilted and the steering angle is less than or equal to 10°,the head injury is most severely affected by the collision speed. However, the above three emergency postures have little difference in calf injury, when the collision speed is lower than 50km/h.But there is a significant difference in calf injury.when the collision speed is greater than 50km/h.it is found that if the cyclist’s posture is a typical foot position and the head is turned at the time of the collision, the head and calf injuries are most affected by the collision speed when the right foot is down, and the head injury is the least affected by the collision speed when the right foot is behind, and the right foot is up.In the last two positions, the calf injury is least affected by the collision speed. The impact of the collision angle on the injury of the cyclist does not show a consistent trend as a whole, and there is a local law with the different settings of the emergency posture parameters. In addition,a collision with a different vehicle type occurs,a cyclist who takes the body tilt and adjusts the sitting posture and steering and adjusts the sitting posture. When the back angle is less than or equal to 15°,the head injury is the most serious when colliding with the SUV.When the back angle is 30°,it collides with the MPV.The head HIC value is the largest.the head injury is the most serious when colliding with the SUV while a cyclist adopts a steering and an emergency posture when the body is tilted before a collision.Overal, when the cyclist tilts the body and adjusts the sitting posture, steers and adjusts the sitting posture, and steers and tilts the body, the calf injury is the lightest when colliding with Sedan;the calf injury is the most serious when colliding with MPV.When a cyclist adopts a typical foot position and turns his head, the head injury is the most serious when it collides with an SUV,and the head injury is the lightest when it collides with Sedan;the calf injury is the most serious when the right foot is behind, and the calf when the right foot is down The damage is the least. In view of the above research results, the orthogonal test is used to take the HIC value of the cyclist’s head as the evaluation index, and the impact of the collision speed, the collision angle, and the collision model on the cyclist’s injury are comprehensively analyzed. The results show that when the cyclist leans and adjusts the sitting posture, the head injury is the least under the collision condition of 30km/h with the car and the collision angle is 20°;When the cyclist turns and adjusts the sitting posture, the head injury is the least when it collides with the car at30km/h and the collision angle is 10°;When the cyclist turns and the body is tilted and the right foot is up and the head is turned, the collision angle with the car is 30km/h and the collision angle is 20° The head injury is the lightest under the collision conditions of the cyclist; When the cyclist’s right foot is down and the head is turned, the head injury is the least when it collides with the car at 30km/h and the collision angle is 0°. |
