The UAV ad hoc network overcomes the communication barriers between UAVs and improves the efficiency of UAV platforms effectively.It has a wide range of applications in military and civil fields.Routing protocol is the key to affect the communication quality of the UAV ad hoc network.The dynamic source routing(DSR)protocol is widely used in ad hoc network scenarios with limited resources due to it has lower routing overhead and better network performance.This paper focuses on the study of the DSR protocol for the UAV ad hoc network and the main contents are as follows:1.The network characteristics of the UAV ad hoc network are analyzed.Based on the introduction of the algorithm principle of DSR protocol and simulation analysis,the stability of link nodes and routing flooding strategy of UAV ad hoc network are preliminary explored,which pave the way for the further study of DSR protocol for the UAV ad hoc network deeply.2.It is difficult to guarantee the stability of the link nodes in the UAV ad hoc network and leads to communication interrupted easily,an improved method for DSR protocol based on decision tree algorithm(Decision Tree Dynamic Source Routing,DT_DSR)is proposed.DT_DSR utilizes three important factors that affecting the stability of UAV node communication,including energy consumption,moving speed and buffer congestion.The node stability constraint algorithm is added to the DSR protocol through the classification idea of decision tree algorithm.The stability of node that forwarding request packet is screened out according to the real-time flight status of UAV,so as to ensure the stability of the data forwarding nodes.Simulation results of OPNET Modeler shows that DT_DSR improves the receiving rate of traffic data on the premise of reducing the average end-to-end delay of the network,reducing the routing overhead and the packet loss rate.3.Aiming at the problem of inefficiency routing flooding of DSR protocol,which leads to high network overhead.An optimization method for DSR protocol based on firefly algorithm(Firefly Algorithm Dynamic Source Routing,FA_DSR)is proposed by drawing the idea of swarm intelligence optimization.This method utilizes the important factors that affecting the stability of UAV nodes communication and the transmission loss between nodes to construct the fitness function of firefly comprehensively.The routing flooding and routing selection process of DSR protocol are optimized comprehensively,according to the routing search process of firefly initialization,firefly movement and update fluorescence value.To solve the problem that the inefficiency of traditional flooding algorithm and link broken easily.Simulation results show that the FA_DSR improves routing flooding efficiency and enhances network performance obviously.
