The current method for assessing the risk of lightning damage to distribution lines has the following shortcomings: on the one hand,it does not consider the lightning activity characteristics of the area where the line is located,and only makes empirical judgments based on the operating conditions since the commissioning.On the other hand,the lack of comprehensive consideration of its own characteristics,such as the configuration of measures and the topography of the line corridor leads to the inability to conduct accurate quantitative analysis of the effects of lightning protection after the installation of targeted lightning protection measures.This paper proposes a comprehensive and differentiated lightning protection risk assessment and management method.The research premise is set to the law of lightning activity,the research basis is set to the characteristics of the line itself,and the supplementary item is a comprehensive configuration of multiple lightning protection measures.At the same time,combined with the engineering examples of Changfeng’s typical distribution line lightning protection management,a detailed study is carried out as follows:The lightning activity and the characteristics of lightning tripping in Changfeng area are analyzed,including the distribution of lightning activity,ground flash distribution,lightning current amplitude distribution,and the influencing factors of the lightning trip area and time characteristics of power distribution lines.It is pointed out that the above factors must be considered in the different lines during the risk assessment implementation of different lightning protection measures.The mechanism of lightning strike disconnection in Changfeng area and corresponding preventive measures are analyzed.A detailed analysis of the lightning protection effects of different measures is performed to provide a basis for the differential lightning risk management of distribution lines below.This paper makes a detailed and in-depth comparative analysis of the lightning protection measures for 10 k V distribution lines,and puts forward the allocation and selection methods of lightning protection measures according to different principles.This paper presents a method for assessing the risk of differentiating lightning damage to distribution lines.By the proposed method,the lightning strike position is determined by judging the lightning strike surface first reached by the vertical falling lightning leader,a lightning strike position judgment model,and an overvoltage calculation model are established based on the classification and study of direct lightning overvoltage and induced lightning overvoltage.Differential risk assessment and management methods for lightning damage on distribution lines and ATP simulation software was used to verify the model.Based on the actual data of the 10 k V Beisha line distribution line in Changfeng area,a case study of the differential lightning risk assessment method for the distribution line is performed.Some of the evaluation results have been applied to the lightning protection reconstruction project of the Beisha line.The number of lightning trips has been significantly reduced,and the effectiveness of the method has been preliminarily verified by the effectiveness of the method studied in this paper to guide the risk assessment and comprehensive management of lightning protection for distribution lines. |
