| Water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing has many technical advantages,such as large load capacity,low friction power consumption,good dynamic stability.At the start-up stage,the water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing has the risk of wear.When the rotating speed is high,the lubrication medium from the outer edge to the bearing clearance is blocked due to the centrifugal effect.In order to solve the above problems,a new type of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing with orifice restrictor is proposed in this paper.The performance test device of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing was developed,and the performance test research of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing was carried out.The main work contents are as follows:(1)The innovative design of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing with orifice restrictor was completed.(2)The development of the performance test device for water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing is completed,including the driving system of the test bench,the main shaft support system,the axial loading system,the water supply system and the bearing performance parameter test system.(3)The performance of new type and traditional water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing under normal pressure water supply was compared.The start-up performance and static characteristic parameters of the bearing under different rotating speeds and axial loads are tested.The influence of rotating speed and axial load on the bearing performance is analyzed,and the mechanism of improving the performance of the new bearing is discussed.The results show that:(1)The performance test device of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing developed in this paper has the advantages of high measurement accuracy of friction torque and water film thickness,convenient axial loading and small vibration.It solves the technical problem of friction torque measurement on horizontal test bench,and provides test conditions for performance test of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing.(2)Under boundary lubrication and mixed lubrication,the friction torque and friction coefficient of the new bearing are lower than those of the traditional bearing.In a certain axial load range,the transition speed from mixed lubrication state to hydrodynamic lubrication state is lower than that of traditional bearing.When the axial load is 10 N,the lubricating state transition speed of the new bearing is less than 50 rpm.Under the condition of hydrodynamic lubrication,the water film thickness and flow rate of the new bearing are higher than that of the traditional bearing,and the friction torque is lower than that of the traditional bearing.The new bearing adopts small holes to supply water perpendicular to the surface of the bearing,which is expected to solve the problem that the lubrication medium is blocked from the outer edge to the bearing clearance due to the centrifugal effect when the bearing is running at high speed.(3)The new type of water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing with orifice restrictor for atmospheric water supply has static pressure effect,partially balances the axial load of the bearing,improves the starting performance and static characteristics of the bearing,and has low cost.So it is expected to be used in light load water-lubricated hydrodynamic spiral-groove bearing. |
