In this paper, based on the traditional variable flux reluctance machine, the concept of memory machine is combined with the topological structure of variable flux reluctance machine, and a 6/7(6 slots and 7 poles)variable flux memory machine is studied.Because the multi tooth stator structure can improve the low torque ability of the machine in the constant torque region, the concept of multi tooth stator structure is introduced into the variable flux memory machine, and the variable flux memory machine with multi tooth stator structure is proposed. On the basis of 6/7 variable flux memory machine and stator multi tooth machine, the research results and main contents of this paper mainly include the following items:Firstly, taking 6/7 and multi-tooth 6/13 variable flux memory machine as examples, this paper introduces the machine topology, flux adjustment ability and flux weakening capacity.By analyzing the operation points of low coercive force permanent magnet in the process of magnetization and demagnetization, the principle of flux adjustment regulation of memory machine is explained.Through the analysis of the variable voltage speed regulation of the memory machine in the operation process, the unique advantage of the flux weakening capacity of the memory machine in the high-speed operation process compared with the traditional permanent magnet synchronous machine is expounded.Secondly, the performances of 6/7 variable flux memory machine and the traditional6/13 variable flux memory machine are compared, including open circuit performances and load performances. In addition, compared with the multi-tooth 6/13 variable flux memory machine and the traditional 6/13 variable flux memory machine, the magnetic circuit method is used to analyze the flux adjustment ability of traditional 6/13 and multi-tooth 6/13 variable flux memory machine.Under the flux enhanced state, the electromagnetic torque under the rated current and torque against q axis-current of machine are analyzed, and the load capacity of the machine are analyzed. Then, the pole number matching method of stator and rotor is introduced, the corresponding pole number of the rotor is determined according to the different small teeth number of the stator. The pole number of the rotor corresponding to the single tooth machine, the double tooth machine, the three tooth machine and the four tooth structure are 7,13,19 and 25.The torque/speed characteristics and power/speed characteristics of single-tooth 6/7and double-tooth 6/13 variable flux memory machines are compared by calculating the PM linkage and inductance of the two machines. The eddy current loss and core loss of the two kinds of machines are calculated by using the finite element method. The copper loss of the machines are estimated by estimating the armature winding reluctance of the machines, the efficiency of the machines are calculated, and the efficiency maps are drawn. The electromagnetic performance of three-tooth 6/19 and four-tooth 6/25 variable flux memory machines are analyzed. Finally,a 6/7 variable flux memory machines is manufactured, and the testing platforms of the back-EMF and static torque are built. In addition, the finite element simulation results and experimental test results are compared and analyzed.
