In 2013,President Xi Jinping proposed the “Belt and Road” development strategy to promote Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation. As an important measure of the“Belt and Road” development strategy, the China-Europe train line actively promotes the integrated development of Eurasia. At the same time, research on the China-Europe train line has become a hot issue in the field of transportation research. The problems of insufficient supply and poor connection in the initial stage of the construction of the China-Europe train line have always affected the normal operation and further development of the China-Europe train line. With the continuous improvement of the transportation network structure of the China-Europe train line hub nodes and route channels, the operation of the train line has gradually realized Normalization, the number of open banks continued to increase, and the problem of shortage of supply has also been greatly improved. As of October 2019,the National Development and Reform Commission also responded to the problem of empty containers criticized by the outside world, saying that the problem has been greatly improved, and the comprehensive heavy container rate has reached more than 90%.With the deepening of the Sino-foreign trade pattern, customers’ requirements for logistics and transportation have also increased. The breakthrough development of the China-Europe train provides more choices for many customers with international transportation needs.Higher timeliness and higher service quality of logistics and transportation can improve customer satisfaction and increase the efficiency of trade transactions, which is a part that can not be ignored to increase corporate efficiency.Company D is a manufacturer of machinery and equipment, and its international trade and transportation is very frequent. At present, company D’s international trade and transportation business mostly uses sea transportation. For many years, sea transportation has also been the only choice for many companies to transport bulk commodities across the country. The poor timeliness of sea transportation and the susceptibility to weather influence lead to long delivery times. This problem makes Company D often criticized by customers. In addition, company D’s products are high in value, and excessive transportation time will cause financial problems such as slow capital turnover. The development of China-Europe trains solves the problem of poor timeliness of maritime transport. At the same time, railway transport has high security and is not affected by weather.Taking the logistics department of Company D as the practical background and the German customer with the largest cargo export volume as the representative, this paper establishes a two-objective route selection optimization model that takes into account transportation time and transportation costs. The model is based on the China-Europe train line as the main body, and the model is used to solve the international transport route of the railway-rail intermodal transportation centered on the China-Europe train line as the main body to optimize the transportation problem of Company D.This paper uses C language programming to solve the model, and adjusts the dual-objective weighting coefficients sequentially to obtain the results under different weighting coefficients. Finally,a comprehensive analysis and comparison of the solution results is provided to provide a more comprehensive and suitable solution for company D’s trade and transportation. The diversification of foreign trade transportation options addresses the different needs of different customers for transportation. At the same time, diversified services have laid the foundation for Company D’s continued expansion in overseas markets and enhanced international competitiveness.
