The power supply system of HT-7U device is a large dynamic source of reactive power and harmonic.It is necessary to set the dynamic compensator in order to ensure the safe and reliability in the operation of HT-7U and realize the compatibility between the power supply system and the high voltage grid.The strategy of passive filter and active power filter,fixed compensation and dynamic compensation,passive filter used as reactive power compensation is proposed.The feasibility and effect of the strategy is demonstrated.Applying with the thyristor controlled reactor,multigroup switchable capacitor bank and hybrid active filter in the 10 KV grid,the voltage drop and the harmonic distortion are limited in the national standard.The key technology of compensation device is studied in the paper.A high voltage compound switch for frequent operation in passive filter is proposed with low electric stress in mechanism switch.In the integration vector plane,a kind of power definition is founded and a kind of detecting approach in reactive power and harmonic current as well.The approach has the advantage of simple arithmetic,real time and wide application.The control strategy with high precision and fast response in the compensator is researched.In the TCR,the open loop of detecting reactive power,the closed-loop of grid voltage and the fuzzy control is adopted.In the multigroup switchable capacitor bank,the detecting of reactive power and its derivative and dead time setting are used.The filter principle is clarified considering the linear controlled source.A novel topology is given,which can decrease the installing capacity of active power part and is more suitable for the high voltage and great capacity system.Its filter characteristics,parameter design method and multigroup technology are studied.All the design and conclusions are verified by simulation and experiments.
