With the continuous development of the automobile industry and the rapid construction of the highway, the practical speed gradually increases, which also causes the car in the process of high-speed driving, vulnerable to the crosswind environment and the driver’s own operation, which makes the high-speed driving stability of the car become a concern. At present, the problem of car stability is often studied unilaterally through aerodynamics or system dynamics, and it is difficult to get the data results close to the actual working conditions. In view of the above problems, this paper uses the two-way coupling method to study the car high-speed driving stability. The research contents are as followsThe car model is established, the car motion is realized by overlapping grid method, and the aerodynamic parameters are calculated. The flow field and aerodynamic load of the aerodynamic model are verified by wind tunnel test. The influence of car system dynamics model on crosswind stability is analyzed by establishing system dynamics model, loading Road model and driver model, and moving wind pressure center position method. On this basis, the two-way coupling control of aerodynamics and system dynamics is established, and the working conditions are established under the crosswind stability road test standard, and the numerical simulation test is carried out to obtain the aerodynamic parameters and motion parameters. The results show that the two-way coupling method is closer to the actual situation.Under the condition of high-speed motion, the theoretical basis of crosswind analysis is established by analyzing the condition without crosswind.A special sinusoidal periodic roll motion is established. The data of the car is analyzed by using the method of aerodynamic simulation and overlapping grid. The transient and steady flow fields around the body are compared, and the relationship between roll motion and aerodynamic characteristics of the car is analyzed. In this paper, the two-way coupling method is used to study the influence of different crosswinds on car aerodynamic stability, and the influence of driver intervention on car aerodynamic stability under different crosswinds is also studied, and the safety analysis of car high-speed motion is carried out,in order to provide engineering reference.
