| As the main part of the electric system of the EMU,the reliability of thousands of cables inside its body directly affects whether the whole EMU can run safely and stably. At present,Chinese engineers use traditional and advanced detection methods to conduct cable conducting test and insulation test for EMU.This method not only wastes manpower, but also time. Moreover,it is easy to cause misoperation and misjudgment due to subjective reasons of engineers, which leads to poor reliability of conduction test results and lays hidden dangers for the safe and stable operation of bullet trains. In order to solve the shortcomings of the traditional manual line alignment measurement method, such as low reliability and long detection time, this paper uses the four-wire resistance detection method to realize the identification of common faults(broken line faults, short circuit faults)of the bullet train cable. On this basis,an automatic testing system for conductivity is developed.According to the different position of the cable, there are two sets of automatic testing devices for the conductivity: fixed detector and handheld detector. After fault identification of cables using the developed instrument, engineers need to locate the faults of cables. In this paper, the time inversion method is used to locate the faults of bullet train cables. In MATLAB /Simulink,the simulation experiment is carried out with the bullet train cables as an example, and the performance of this technology in positioning accuracy is discussed.By comparing the positioning accuracy with the traveling wave method,it is proved that the time inversion method is more suitable and accurate than the traveling wave method in the fault location of the bullet train cable. The test results show that the system has the advantages of fast test speed, high accuracy, convenient operation and can significantly improve the working efficiency. |
